Recently my husband and I were able to experience a Royal Caribbean Cruise on Freedom of the Seas. This ship sails from Miami with stops in Nassau and CocoCay. Everything we experienced was top notch and the customer service was excellent.
One of our stops was Perfect Day in CocoCay which started with a tram ride or walk to the entrance. We decided to walk so that we could explore other areas. We decided to upgrade our experience at Coco Beach Club, this is an extra cost. (There are several extras that can be added to your day at CocoCay to elevate your experience.) Upon our arrival at Coco Beach Club we were welcomed and escorted to the outdoor restaurant to make lunch reservations. We then made our way to the private beach. The beach is scattered with many chairs and umbrellas for comfort. Immediately we were provided with luxury beach towels, only available at Coco Beach Club. Within minutes someone came to take our drink orders. The server was pleasant and also pointed out to us the nurse sharks visible from the beach. He mentioned that the area has sharks, stingrays, fish, and turtles. The Beach Club also has floating cabanas for an extra cost. The cabana is private and includes a seating area, slide, and ladder to get in and out of the water. I did see several families enjoying the cabana experience.
After enjoying the beach we headed to lunch. The meal started with a sample of all the appetizers listed on the menu. For lunch my husband had the lobster which he said was delicious. I chose the hamburger and truffle fries. Which were also delicious. The meal ended with our choice of desert or deserts. Of course, you can order more than one.
We then decided to try out the infinity pool and the loungers located next to the pool. We loved the view and the water was so refreshing. The infinity pool has loungers in the pool as well as cushioned loungers next to the pool. We relaxed next to the pool till we had to return to the ship.
