Oh my yum! Walt Disney World has just released a preview of the newest restaurant to join the parks! Roundup Rodeo BBQ is slated to open on March 23, 2023 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the menu looks finger-licking good!
You will find the new restaurant in Toy Story Land, which transforms you into a toy from the beloved Andy from Disney’s Toy Story, and lets you play like a toy in Andy’s backyard. Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be a table service restaurant, which means advanced dining reservations will be needed to dine at the location. It has also been announced that this location will be served family-style, which means everything will come out in dishes for the entire table to share. This is honestly my favorite way to enjoy meals, you get to try so many different options from the menu, and take as much or as little of the items you would like. There have been three types of salads, four types of smoked meats, and three plant-based offerings announced for the roundup Rodeo BBQ menu, along with biscuits for the table. All of the entree items will come with different types of BBQ sauce ranging from traditional to spicy. What type of BBQ sauce do you prefer on your entrees? Don’t think we were not going to discuss side dishes, sides are everything with a meal! Eight, yes eight, different side dishes have been announced. I think there is something for everyone. Loaded potato barrels, fried pickles, and creamy mac & cheese are just to name a few.
Be sure to leave room for a sweet dessert! There are some pretty fantastic twists on traditional picnic sweet treats. Apple pie, chocolate mousse, blueberry and lemon cheesecake, and last but not least, strawberry-peach pie! I’m ready to order one of each, they all sound amazing and look to be served in cute little jars! Don’t forget the trash, oh, I mean Forky! He has his very own chocolate cupcake which might be too cute to eat!
