Get Ready for more toys to be added to Andy’s backyard. Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be opening in the Spring. Guests will enjoy delicious barbecue and toy-sized fun. This is the world’s first “Toy Story” table service location. It will be located in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Andy has used his amazing imagination, toys from Woody’s Roundup, and other play items to build a rodeo restaurant for his pals to enjoy. When you enter the dining room you will discover how much fun Andy had while creating a place for toys to enjoy comfort foods and barbecue style meals served family style. There will be platters of house-smoked meats, sides, and miniature sweets to enjoy.
You will find yourself in the wild west with a steam train that is supported by colored pencils, an impressive house of cards, and “Toy Story” board games. In the stands of the rodeo arena, you will find hand drawn audience members on a cardboard box, created by Andy himself. Don’t forget to look for the star performers in the dining room. The stars include Jessie, Trixie, Bo Peep with her leapin’ sheep Billy, Goat, and Gruff.
Disney Pixar Animation Studios worked closely with imagineers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to bring the toys, games, and sets to life in the park. The Collaboration allowed this unique restaurant to be the first of its kind complete with unique artwork and design figures. They are always looking for new ways to bring the characters and art from the films to life. If you look to the dining room ceiling you will see the comic strips about Woody’s adventures that were created just for the Roundup Rodeo.
