A few months back, Disneyland announced a new production being showcased later in 2023, ‘Rogers: The Musical’. This musical was a fictional production shown on “Hawkeye”, a Disney+ series, featuring the “Avengers” and their life story. With the announcement of the Disney100 celebration, ‘Rogers: The Musical’ was also announced as part of the line up for the entertainment.
With a short period of showcase time, June 30 through August 31, 2023, the Hyperion Theater located inside Disney California Adventure Park will be bursting with excitement from the show. The storyline will feature original choreography during the performance along with a few other known scenes from “Hawkeye” and from the original film “Captain America: The First Avenger.”
There will be multiple opportunities on the select performance days, Tuesday through Saturday, to view the entertainment. It has been suggested from Disney destinations for guests to access a virtual queue for seating. This will be available to reserve on the Disneyland app, with the proper ticket and access to the park. The virtual queue will open twice a day, 10 am and 2 pm PT, for guests to reserve their spot for the different show times. While joining the queue is not required for access to the performances, it has been highly recommended as it will be an in demand show.
Also during the date range of the performances, there will be limited-time snacks available for purchase. Inside Disney California Adventure Park, there will be a cherry, vanilla, and blue raspberry shake to showcase the patriotic performance. There will also be various types of wraps to recharge for the rest of your park day. For a snack during the performance, you will find kettle corn in the colors of red, white, and blue available for purchase.
If guests are wanting an extra special experience, there will be a Premium Viewing Experience available for purchase. When purchasing this option, guests will also receive the red, white, and blue kettle corn with bucket, a beverage, along with special lounge, priority seating, keepsake lanyard, and photo. Magic shots by Disney PhotoPass will also be available for this limited-time entertainment.
As with every special occasion at Disney, there will be merchandise available for purchase to go along with this amazing show. Some of the things teased by Disney Destinations that will be available are t-shirts, magnets, and ornaments.
