Sometimes when you are at the theme parks you just need a break from the chicken tenders and pizza. Bigfire, located in CityWalk at Universal Orlando, is one of those restaurants you have to check out.
Bigfire offers a wide variety of beverages to help hydrate you after a day at the parks. One of my favorite cocktails on the menu includes the smoked smoked maple which truly is an experience in itself and pairs nicely with any of their amazing starters such as the Bourbon Cheese Fondue or the Artichoke Oven Roasted Dip. While this restaurant is known for their delicious steaks you really cannot go wrong with any entree on the menu. The accompanying crispy baby smashed potatoes are truly mouthwatering.
You absolutely must save room for dessert, even if you order to share! The Skillet Baked Chocolate Cake and the Tableside Smores are my two favorites. The S’more’s come with graham crackers, chocolate bars, peanut butter cups and 2 different types of marshmallows. The chocolate cake is nothing short of mouth-watering deliciousness especially with the melted bourbon ice cream on top.
Pro-Tip: Ask your Marvelous Mouse travel agent to help you make dining reservations. Most of the restaurants book up for lunch and dinner. You could walk up but ultimately you could be waiting over an hour to be seated even with the priority seating option for premier resort guests.
