I recently had the opportunity to taste my way through Epic Universe and I can say with commanding praise that Epic Universe has some of the best theme park food I have ever tasted! Here are the places I got a chance to try on my visit. Let's dive right in portal by portal!

Here we have the adorable Toadstool Cafe! Even if you don’t plan to dine here, a walk through is a must because the theming and decor are just so cute! The star here is the Mario burger- complete with its own little red hat - and the Bowser’s Fireball Challenge- a ONE POUND meatball! The food here was not the best overall of the park, but the ambience was our favorite!

Dark Universe has Das Steakhouse where the food is served on none other than stakes! You can choose between fish, chicken and meatloaf. I opted to go with a different entree the Blood Orange Chicken Sandwich which was served on a black bun! It was super juicy and the sauce was delicious! The mood here is super spooky and really fits in with the theme of the portal!
Transport yourself to Paris with both the food and the architecture as the storytelling continues to amaze at Epic Universe! There are two quick serve dining areas here - Cafe L’air De La Sirene and Le Gobelet Noir. The cafe is bright and airy and feels just like a French Patisserie. You can nosh on the viral Butterbeer Crepes or my favorite - the French Onion Soup! Over at Gobelet Noir, we tried the Warm-Shaved Beef Sandwich. The bread on this sandwich was so fresh it really made the sandwich. My sister tried the Wizard’s Brew Bratwurst Sandwich and the beer cheese and German mustard made this the winning dish of our lunch! Gobelet Noir is a little more hidden and has tons of seating, so its a great place to escape the crowds!

Isle of Berk transports you to the land of the Vikings and if it's anything those Scandinavian know its meatballs! The Mead Hall is no exception! They had great meatballs and root veggie mash! We ordered just the kids meal sized portion and it was enough! Plus it came in a cute little Viking Ship! Another fun treat here is Stormfly’s Catch of the Day- an adorable little chocolate mousse fish! I'm sure you have seen the Mac and Cheese cones all over social media- and for good reason! We tried the PB&J one and it was our favorite food of the day!

Our favorite quick serve dining location of the day was Pizza Moon! We tried 5 different pies here and we really loved them all! My two standouts were the Space Cowboy - a BBQ inspired pizza complete with BBQ potato chips and the Pizza Lunare - an ube-crusted pizza with bechamel, ricotta and pancetta! We also tried the Brownie Eclipse dessert, but this was just a meh for us - stick to the pizzas here!

There are PLENTY of places to dine in Epic Universe! Whether you are looking for quick serve dining, elegant table service or just a quick snack there is something for everyone! Reach out to your Marvelous Mouse Travels agent to chat about what restaurants are perfect for your family!
