Even the pickiest eaters will be loading up their plates at Moon Palace Cancun. For parents of children who are picky eaters (or adults too!) vacations can sometimes be a little daunting. However, picky eaters at Moon Palace Cancun can rejoice as there is something for everyone‘s taste buds!
This family-friendly resort, which is divided into two buildings—Sunrise and Nizuc— has 18 spots to eat between them and guests have access to both sections. A multitude of sit-down restaurants span from Italian cuisine to Asian to a Brazilian steakhouse and of course Mexican specialities—ole!
Looking for a little more variety on your plate? Both the Sunrise and Nizuc sections of Moon Palace Cancun offer extensive International buffets. Even the pickiest eaters are sure to find something to satisfy! While the main entrees tend to change, you can find a multitude of options such as french toast, omelets and Mexican specialities for breakfast along with fruit, juices, pastries and cereal. For lunch, grab a slice from the pizza station, something from the grill, fruit or a selection of antipasto–just to name a few options!
Spending some time at the pool and looking for a bite? Both Sunrise and Nizuc have delicious poolside snacks and drinks (which of course is included in your stay!). During my recent stay in the Nizuc section, I absolutely loved the taco stand. There is a choice of chicken, beef and pork (my favorite of the three), and an array of toppings for more adventurous eaters. The Nizuc pool also has a hamburger counter while the Sunrise pool area includes a Texas-BBQ style snack bar!
If all else fails–well there is always dessert! Those with a sweet tooth will have a field day at Moon Palace Cancun, as both sections feature their own European-esque dessert and coffee shop. Pastries, hand-painted chocolates, a selection of ice cream and create-your-own crepes? Sounds like the perfect dinner to me! I loved my crepe filled with hazelnut-chocolate spread and coconut as well as the hand-painted chocolates that were (almost) too pretty to eat.
And if you happen to find yourself a little hungry at 11pm after a long day of relaxation, never fear because room service at Moon Palace Cancun is 24 hours and–you guessed it–included in your stay! Not only can you order right from your app, but you can also pre-schedule your breakfast for the next morning, which is a great option if you have an early morning excursion planned or an early-morning flight.
