Picking the Perfect Room at Sandals Saint Vincent & The Grenadines

By:  Jenna Konkel, a Marvelous Mouse Travels agent

Several Marvelous Mouse Travels’ agents recently stayed at Sandals Saint Vincent & The Grenadines. The lush grounds and stunning views make this practically untouched Caribbean destination the perfect resort for your next adult-only vacation. But with 15 room categories, how do you determine which room is the right choice for you?

Picking the Perfect Room at Sandals Saint Vincent & The Grenadines

Sandals resorts offer 3 different room levels: Luxury, Club and Butler level. Luxury level rooms include all of the basic amenities you will need to enjoy your vacation. Club level rooms include an extra level of personalization including private check-in/check-out process and Club Sandals Lounge to enjoy during your arrival and departure which is indoors. You also have access to the club level concierge who can assist with booking reservations including spa, dining, excursions and diving. One of my personal favorite benefits of staying in a club level room is the access to in-room dining. What is better than breakfast on your patio? Butler level rooms include all the Club Level amenities but offer even more conveniences such as checking in at your room so you do not have to wait in a lounge. You also have your own butler(s) who get to know you and your preferences during your stay. The butler(s) are there to escort you to dinners, excursions, spa reservations and more. They also set up any special occasion celebrations for you such as rose petals on your bed or preparing your bathtub with a bottle of wine and rose petals, for example. Your butler(s) can deliver in-room food and drinks from any location on the resort. They can also reserve beach/pool chairs and deliver food/drinks to you throughout your stay.

The above details regarding Sandals room levels is typically true across the entire brand. However, something we learned when staying at Sandals Saint Vincent & The Grenadines is that during their grand opening in 2024 they included in-room dining with every level of room and have continued it at the resort since. They do not plan to remove this benefit so this means you get extra added value with your luxury level rooms!

There are 2 room categories within luxury level at Sandals Saint Vincent:

  • Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Bamboo Palm Partial Oceanview Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub

The only difference in the rooms is the location within the 5 story buildings. The least expensive room category (Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub) is going to place you on floors 2-3 featuring gorgeous views of the grounds and swim-up rooms. Paying only about $22 per person per night means you can stay on floors 4-5 with views of the ocean from your balcony! The small increase in price for the Bamboo Palm Partial Oceanview Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub is completely worth it!

There are 5 room categories within club level at Sandals Saint Vincent:

  • Lady Palm Club Suite with Fitness Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Lady Palm Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Lady Palm Partial Oceanview Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Bamboo Palm Club Swim-up Room with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Lady Palm Club Swim-up Suite with Media Room and Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub

There are 2 types of rooms located on the ground floor (1st floor): Bamboo Palm Club Swim-up Room with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub and Lady Palm Club Swim-up Suite with Media Room and Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub. Swim-up rooms are the perfect choice if you want immediate access to a semi-private, small pool from your room. Each of these rooms include 2 of the partially submerged pool loungers with the difference being the addition of the Media Room. The Media Room includes a 75” TV and love seat lounger. The price increase (between the 2 swim-up rooms) for the Media Room is only $21 per person per night making it well worth it for couples who want to lounge and feel like you are in your own personal movie theater. Depending on your travel dates, you might visit the resort during rainy season which makes the Media Room a huge asset to enjoying the time connecting with your significant other no matter the weather conditions! If your budget does not allow for butler level but you still want as private a visit as possible these Club Level swim-up rooms are the best option!

There are 2 additional variety of rooms located on floors 2-3: Lady Palm Club Suite with Fitness Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub and Lady Palm Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. These rooms are typically the same price but offer a different style of use for the space. You can either choose your Technogym featuring an exercise bike with personalized classes and weights or your Media room which was described previously.

The last type of room in the Club Level category is located on floors 4-5: Lady Palm Partial Oceanview Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. This is the room with the balcony views of the ocean. This room is only $21 per person per night more than the rooms on floors 2-3 and for the ocean views is completely worth the price!

Lastly, there are 8 room categories within butler level at Sandals Saint Vincent:

  • Garden Butler Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • One-Bedroom Garden Butler Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • One-Bedroom Garden Butler Suite with Media Room and Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Beachfront Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool
  • Beachfront One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Media Room and Private Pool
  • Beachfront One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool
  • Beachfront Two-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool
  • Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villa

You might have noticed when we discussed luxury and club level rooms is that the name of the room category is truly a summary of the room description which makes it easy to understand the difference. This is the same for the Butler level options as well. You can view the differences at a glance in just the names. My favorite additional feature of these butler level rooms is that in place of private transfers in a shuttle from the airport, you can take a boat transfer. The boat transfers helps you reach the resort faster and with less windy roads which can tend to invoke car sickness.

When it comes to selecting which room would fit your needs the best it is important to be honest about how private you want your stay to be. If you want to be able to not leave your room the entire stay which includes use of a pool, make sure you book a room with a Private Pool. The great news is that all of these rooms include beachfront access which means you can also feel like you are right on your own private beach at times as well. The most expensive option of these rooms is the Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villa. These rooms are absolutely incredible with the most stunning views out your balcony on both floors of your villa. These villas also come with their own private beach at the resort. These would be the most private way to experience the resort!
