There are many options and things to do when spending your day at Perfect Day at Cococay on Royal Caribbean. I chose to spend the majority of my day at the Thrill Waterpark. You have the option of purchasing a pass to utilize the attractions within the waterpark. You can also purchase a cabana which includes access to the waterpark. I chose the cabana and shared with my friends. When entering the park tell the cabana concierge that you have a rental for the day. You are escorted to your cabana and given the appropriate wristbands.
The cabana has a capacity of 6 people. You have seating, ice chest, water, table, umbrella, shade covering, and a cabana attendant. We were located next to the waterslides called Splash Summit. We were able to use our cabana attendant to order food and drinks. He was very helpful and knew what drink we wanted before we would even ask him.
Within the waterpark are numerous attractions. The wave pool, adventure pool, and Daredevil’s Tower available for enjoyment. The Splash Summit slides consist of: Sling Shot, a four-rider raft, Twister, two riders on a tandem raft, and Splash Speedway, four riders race each other. One of my favorite activities was watching as people came down the slides. The screams, yells, and laughter were amusing.
The 5 other waterslides were located at Daredevil’s Tower. You can choose from Daredevils Peak, the tallest waterslide in North America. Dueling Demons which are twin drop slides. Screeching Serpent, a 50-foot vertical slide, Green Mamba a 50-foot slide with twists and turns, and Manta Rivers, twin open flume slides. Make sure to pick up the map of Cococay. All of the slides are described as well as the thrill meter key of each.
Other conveniences located in this area were bathrooms, the Snack Shack, umbrellas and chairs located around the pool areas, as well as lockers and changing rooms. I highly recommend spending some time, if not your whole day, in Thrill Waterpark.
