I’m always looking for unique and memorable experiences to recommend to my clients. That’s why I was excited to try the Rose & Crown fireworks dining package during my recent trip to Disney World. Booking special experiences like this can add an extra layer of magic to any vacation, and I love being able to share firsthand knowledge with others when planning their perfect trip.
We booked our Rose & Crown fireworks dining package 60 days ahead of our trip. Disney’s advanced reservation system is essential for securing popular experiences like this, so I always advise my clients to plan ahead. One thing to note: payment is required in full at the time of booking for this specific dining package. Our reservation was for 8 p.m., and we arrived about 10 minutes early, which I always recommend when dining at Disney, as it helps ensure a smooth check-in. In our case, it was just that—check-in was easy, and we were seated pretty quickly.
To our delight, we got a front-row waterfront table overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. It's the perfect location to experience the evening fireworks show in Epcot. This dining package is great for guests who want to enjoy the fireworks without having to secure a spot around the lagoon well in advance. Instead, you can enjoy a delicious meal and get an unbeatable view of the show all from the comfort of your table.

The dining package included a prix-fixe menu where we each selected one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert, along with unlimited beverages. For guests 21 and over, alcohol was included at no extra charge. I found this to be a great value, especially since many dining packages that include alcohol often come with additional fees. For those who enjoy a glass of wine or beer with dinner, this package offers a fantastic opportunity to indulge without worrying about added costs.

The atmosphere at Rose & Crown was incredibly relaxing, which is something I really appreciated after a busy day in the parks. Each table had its own umbrella, providing shade during the earlier parts of the evening, and dimmable lights for a cozy, intimate feel. Ahead of the fireworks show, the staff thoughtfully lowered the umbrellas to ensure that no one’s view of the spectacle was obstructed, which made the experience even better. It was the perfect setup for a peaceful evening meal, and the attention to detail really stood out.
For my appetizer, I chose the Coronation Salad, a light and refreshing start to the meal. For my entrée, I opted for the Shepherd’s Pie, which was hearty and comforting, perfect for the setting.

However, the standout dish for me ended up being the fish and chips that my son ordered. I couldn’t resist trying a bite (or two!), and I’m so glad I did. The fish was coated in a thick, golden batter that was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This dish really captured the essence of traditional British pub food and is what I’ll be ordering next time, without a doubt.

One of the fun parts of our meal was that everyone at our table ordered something different, so we all had the chance to try multiple dishes. It’s something I always recommend to clients when dining in a group—it’s the perfect way to experience a variety of flavors without having to commit to just one dish. The fish and chips were the clear winner for me, but it was great to sample other options too.
Just as we finished our meals, the highlight of the evening began— Luminous: The Symphony of Us. This new fireworks show is one of Disney’s latest spectacles, and our front-row view was absolutely amazing. Being so close to the water, with the beautiful lagoon reflecting the lights from the fireworks, made for an unforgettable experience. The show itself did not disappoint, and I have to admit, I even found myself getting a bit emotional! Disney has a way of evoking that kind of response with their storytelling, and *Luminous* was no exception. Thankfully, the cloth napkin on the table came in handy for wiping away those unexpected tears.

During the show, our server brought out our dessert without disturbing our view or the magical moment. This is a detail I always pay attention to when experiencing Disney’s dining options—how well the service integrates with the overall experience. In this case, it was seamless. The timing was perfect, allowing us to continue enjoying the show while savoring our dessert. After the fireworks ended, our server checked in to see if we wanted any additional drinks or anything else. He also let us know that we were welcome to stay as long as we liked and that there was no rush to leave. This is another benefit of booking a dining package—there’s no need to hurry out with the crowd.
One of the best parts of the evening was walking out of the park after the rush of the crowd had cleared. By the time we left, the park was much quieter, and we got to enjoy a peaceful stroll on our way out. Walking through Disney at night, with fewer people around, really gives you time to take in the beauty of the park in a way that’s often missed during the busy daytime hours. The calm after the fireworks show allowed us to reflect on the experience and talk about what we had just seen. It was our first time seeing Luminous since it debuted last December, and we were all incredibly impressed. Having that quiet time to enjoy the atmosphere was the perfect way to wrap up an already magical evening.
As a travel agent, I often get asked whether these dining packages are worth it. My answer, especially after this experience, is a resounding yes. The Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package offers not only a fantastic meal but also an unbeatable view of the fireworks without the stress of trying to find a spot among the crowds. For clients looking for a special way to end their day at Epcot, this package is a great option. Plus, the added benefit of a quieter, more relaxed exit from the park is something I’ll be sure to highlight when recommending this experience to my clients.

If you’re planning a Disney trip and want to make sure you get the most out of your experience, whether it’s booking dining packages, finding the best accommodations, or securing hard-to-get reservations, I’d love to help. As someone who’s passionate about Disney and has firsthand experience with so many of these offerings, I can guide you through the process and make sure your vacation is truly magical. This Rose & Crown experience is one that I’ll definitely be doing again, and it’s something I’ll be sharing with my clients who are looking for a memorable evening at Epcot.
