This week has brought us more houses for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Orlando. We now have seven of the ten haunted houses and five of those houses are original houses! The work that creative teams at Universal put into the houses is unreal, and the stories behind them make it even better! Let’s find out about the four houses that we have not chatted about yet. The first three houses announced were discussed in previous blogs, check that out to learn more about them.

The fourth house, the second of the originals, is Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, from Slaughter Sinemas. Maybe you haven’t heard of Slaughter Sinemas, is a collection of B-horror films. The first Slaughter Sinemas debuted in 2018, while Slaughter Sinemas 2 was a 2024 release. Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunter is set in an old western town where lava demons are attempting to possess everyone around them.
The fifth house, the third of the original houses, is Dolls: Let’s Play Dead. This one I am not too sure about due to the previous Chucky house, and Chucky is the original killer doll. It’s a lot to live up to. This house is described as you are transformed into doll-size and “hunted by dolls that have been burnt, melded, and stitched together by a twisted little girl.” This could have serious potential, and I don’t doubt that Universal will do it right.
The sixth of seventh house is Grave of Flesh. This one is a little twisted. Described as when you enter your grave you are welcomed (I guess that’s the word for it) by flesh-eaters waiting to devour your flesh and haunt you for eternity.
The final of the original houses announced, for now, is Gálkin: Monsters of the North. This house will take us to a cold northern village where something rises from the dead and brings the monsters and demons to torture the townsfolk. Universal then states that “you’ll face icy, horned, winged and wolfish fiends that gradually merge into one giant horror.”
