The holidays are one of the best times to get creative and fun in the kitchen. Here’s a fun, easy and tasty project that the whole family can help with! These aren’t just for Halloween either but can be themed to any holiday or event you want – just change up the colors of chocolate you use!

What you need:
Steps:
1.Gather Ingredients. Melting Chocolate and Sprinkles can be purchased at your local baking supply store and some craft stores.

2. Start by making Chocolate Bows if you are not using pre-made Candy Bows. Choose a color chocolate to make your bows. Melt chocolate in 15 second intervals in microwave safe bowl or piping bottle. Transfer melted chocolate into Ziploc or Piping bags.
Tip: Between 15 second microwave intervals remove chocolate and stir. Do not over microwave, this will burn the chocolate. You will know the chocolate is done when only a few small chunks of chocolate remains.

Pipe melted chocolate into bow molds. Tap the mold lightly on the counter to get out air bubbles. Carefully place the trays into the fridge to harden.
3. Next will be coating the large Oreos in chocolate. Carefully melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave safe bowl (same steps as above). Be sure to continuously stir the melted chocolate.
Tip: Dip the bottom half of the large Oreos in the chocolate. Place Oreos on parchment paper covered cookie sheet to harden.

4. Separate mini-Oreos and scrape off filling. Carefully place mini-Oreos into upper sides of the large Oreos to create Mickey’s “ears”.
Tip: if the ears are not staying in on their own, place a small dab of chocolate. between the mini and large Oreo to hold them in place.
5. Decorate your Mickeys! You can use sprinkles (dip cookie in the sprinkles immediately after dunking in chocolate), multi-colored chocolate, the bows and your imagination! Be sure the chocolate has fully hardened before decorating with chocolate and bows.
6. Let the chocolate fully harden and then package for your friends or enjoy yourself!!
7. Most importantly – HAVE FUN!
