This resort opened not that long ago – Summer 2021! We jumped at the first chance we could to go experience it. I will say it is a very unique resort and may not work for everyone but that is what makes it PERFECT for families like ours and others that love the extra for little kids!
We arrived at about 10:00 AM and check in was seamless. We had to wait for the transfer to the rooms which is a golf cart or van. The way the property is set up is a little different. You have the main lobby/playroom/waterpark and then the rooms and beach are roughly a 3 minute drive away. Not walkable but transfers are always ready. I felt like this added an extra layer of security and also made the views from the room amazing.
By the time we got to our room they had already hooked us up with all the baby gear. Bottle sterilizer and warmer, cribs, even a stroller was in the room! I was very impressed with this. The rooms look exactly like how I pictured a teen hangout watching Nick growing up hah! All the rooms are fit to accommodate 5. We had a king bed, pull out queen and pull down twin in ours. The doors slid to close off the king bed which is such a great feature! There are also TWO bathrooms in the rooms and every room is a Swim-Out Oceanview! What a dream!!
The waterpark is broken out into 3 sections with a lazy river that wraps around them. Paw Patrol and Blue (Blues Clues) are in the toddler section which has a splash pad and multiple toddler level slides. Even 2 small tube needed slides which I hadn’t seen mini before! The next section is for a little older kids and is all Spongebob-themed. I LOVED this! You also can get slimed in this area. Then you have the big water park area and it is legit steep slides. There is food all over the waterpark and it is included!
The food was super good everywhere we went. All the restaurants are themed so cute and have nods to different TV shows. There is only one that you do need a reservation for and it is called Piazza. Ninja Turtles theming throughout and so fun!
They truly made this a kid paradise with perks to make the parents happy as well. I loved getting to see all my 90’s favorites mixed with all my kiddos new favorites!
