Exciting times are ahead for Beaches Resorts fans! With Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma set to transform into the new Beaches Exuma, I can’t help but reminisce about my own incredible experience at Beaches Turks & Caicos.

When I visited last September, I was blown away by the variety of activities included in the stay, especially the daily snorkeling trips, which offered an up-close view of the vibrant marine life. The lazy river at the water park was definitely a standout—perfect for a leisurely float and some relaxation. My friends and I also had a blast on the water trikes and kayaks, making the most of the crystal-clear waters.
We stayed in the Italian Village Penthouse Concierge Family Suite, and it was nothing short of amazing. The suite was massive, with a separate kids' room featuring three bunk beds, a TV, and tons of storage. The large, divided bathroom areas, complete with a soaker tub, were perfect for winding down after an adventurous day.
Dining at Kimonos was an unforgettable experience with the group singing adding to the lively atmosphere. And, after a long day, Bobbie Dee’s was our go-to spot for a late-night snack. I also loved starting my mornings with breakfast at the Sky Lounge, which offers a stunning oceanfront view.
One of my favorite memories from the trip was dancing the night away with friends at Club Liquid. Even though we were adults enjoying the nightlife, I was impressed by how much there was for families to do during the day. The resort's water park, with its lazy river and thrilling slides, looked like a dream for kids. I also noticed that Beaches Turks & Caicos caters incredibly well to younger guests, with arcades, video games, and vibrant kids and teens clubs that ensure there’s always something fun and engaging happening.
Even without kids in tow, I could see how this resort would be an absolute hit for families, and I’m sure the new Beaches Exuma in the Bahamas will offer even more opportunities for both adults and children to create unforgettable memories. Given how fantastic Beaches Turks & Caicos is, I’m sure the new resort will be just as impressive, and I’m already anticipating how quickly it will book up once it opens!
