When visiting Walt Disney World, I highly recommend taking an evening or entire day and visiting Disney Springs. This shopping and restaurant district is a highlight of our trip every time. Hours can be spent leisurely strolling through the stores and there are so many different varieties of dining options available. Now, there are even more options with the brand new dining options.
In the Disney Springs West Side district, Summer House on the Lake location has officially opened. This dining experience has brought the West Coast flare to the East Coast. The menu offers something for everyone, even including the kiddos. Summer House on the Lake is open for brunch, lunch and dinner. Starter dishes for brunch include a jalapeno cornbread served with a side of honey butter, truffle fries, and even prime beef meatballs. House-made tortilla chips served with a signature guacamole sounds delicious. There are five Cali-Mex Breakfast options, four different types of egg dishes, and four varieties of waffles and pancakes. Chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers, salmon, and steak are also available on the brunch menu. There is something for every kid offered on the kids menu like chicken fingers, grilled cheese, quesadillas, breakfast options, mac & cheese, and even pizza.

The lunch and dinner menu are similar, without those breakfast options, and offers so much more! There is a section of “Raw & Chilled” seafood options, a few delicious salad options, tacos, pasta, pizza, and even some “Summer Comfort” options as described by Disney. The kids menu stays the same.
Desserts include ‘Gooey Lemon Cake’ and ‘7 Layer Chocolate Cake.’ Also an exciting option that I have already heard some buzz about is the Cookies and Bars menu! We’re talking ten, yes ten, varieties of cookies and bars. Chocolate chip, M&M, and Oatmeal Scotchie make the cut along with Peanut Butter, a Vegan Snickerdoodle, and Gluten Free Chocolate Chip. Two of those bar options are Cookies and Cream Krispy Treat and Brown Butter Krispy Treat along with a Brownie and Blondie. The Cookie Bar will offer all treats and beverages to go for guests to be able to stroll and enjoy.
The location is currently not accepting dining reservations online, so be sure to stop by Summer House on the Lake to be placed on the waitlist.
