Summer 2024 is bringing so many amazing new things to the Universal Orlando parks. While we still wait, most impatiently, regarding the opening of the new Universal Epic Universe theme park, there are some amazing new entertainment options coming to Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure.
The first two new entertainment options will be new shows, both nighttime displays. One inside Universal Studios and the other inside Universal Islands of Adventure, and both will premiere on June 14, 2024!
At Universal Studios the brand new CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular will debut then displayed on select nights inside the park. The water show will be held in a lagoon and will feature “favorite movie moments through powerful soundtracks..” as said by Universal Orlando Resort. It is shown that there will be movie features like “Jaws,” “Harry Potter,” and “Jurassic Park.” What are you hoping to see in the new nighttime event?
On the same evening, inside the second theme park at Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Island of Adventure will also be debuting a new nighttime show. This however is on inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade. On the sides of the beautiful school of witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts castle will light up with music and moments from the films. The projection show will also only be available for viewing on select evenings.
The final new entertainment performance is a big one, the biggest one yet. Maybe we should call it the most MEGA one yet! Universal MEGA MOVIE Parade will debut in the park on July 3, 2024! While it is not as close as the other two new premiers, it will absolutely live up to the hype and be worth the wait! This new parade will feature favorite characters from films out of so many different film genres! Characters from Trolls, a T.Rex from Jurassic Park, and maybe our favorite extra terrestrial friend. This parade will be a daytime event.
