Are you ready to head down to experience the taste of New Orleans? With the opening of Tiana’s Palace being within just a few short weeks, September 7, 2023, Disney Destinations has updated us with the new menu for Tiana's Palace! This quick service restaurant will surely be a hit for guests of all ages! Disneyland is even importing the available fresh ingredients straight from New Orleans, Louisiana.
The traditional gumbo gets a twist at this all new restaurant. With three different options guests can choose from, one of them is sure to hit the spot during an exciting park day! 7 Greens Gumbo, 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage, and the House Gumbo all look absolutely delicious! Need a little spice on your plate? The new Cajun Spice Half Chicken will be a great choice! This half chicken option is covered in a BBQ sauce that is created in-house and served with the two sides of Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw.
The next tasty meal that is sure to fill you up is the Muffuletta Sandwich. This toasted bread sandwich has a layer of house-made olive relish on top of 3 different types of deli meats and two different types of cheese! The Beef Po-boy Sandwich, which looks fantastic, is served on toasted New Orleans French Bread, stuffed with slow cooked beef, and topped with gravy and your favorite sandwich toppings. Are grits one of your favorites? Do you like them sweet or savory? Gulf Shrimp grilled perfectly, coated with a Creole sauce, and then served atop a bowl of cheesy grits could be the best way to go for your meal.
As with any amazing restaurant located inside Disneyland, there are more amazing side dishes to choose from! Sides are the way to my heart, especially when they are delicious. “Buttermilk Cornbread, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Red Beans & Heirloom Rice, Coleslaw, Cheesy Grits, and planted based Heirloom Rice” are the side dishes that were listed by Disney Destinations.

At the end of the meal comes dessert, you could enjoy it first. I'm not one to judge, but you do not want to skip out on the House-Filled Beignets! This pastry is topped with a lemon glaze and stuffed with lemon icebox pie filling for an amazing treat! If you need a little pick-me-up, Joffrey’s Coffee has you covered with the Chicory Cold Brew also being served at Tiana’s Palace. As an additional purchase, guests will be able to add a Ray Firefly Glow Cube with the purchase of a beverage.
The last amazing merchandise guests can commemorate their vacation with, and take home as a souvenir, is the Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic Set. When you purchase the set, you also receive a House-Filled Beignet! The ceramic sets are limited to two per guests, and are subject to availability.
