One event that brings in crowds for the holiday season is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. A Cookie Stroll, holiday traditions shared from around the world, and the famous Candlelight Processional. Guests from all over the world plan their vacations around the Candlelight Processional schedule for the special guest narrator and now we have even more experiences for those guests to experience during their holiday visit!
Just like some of the resorts on Walt Disney World property, a gorgeous gingerbread display will take to EPCOT for the first time. An 8-foot tall gingerbread “house” that is actually designed after Spaceship Earth will be on display inside CommuniCore Hall during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Guests will also experience the magic of the display while it lights up to a musical performance throughout the day.
ComuniCore Hall will also be decked out with holiday decor and Glittering Grove presented by Balsam Hill where guests can experience the magical trees. CommuniCore Hall is also home to two Holiday Kitchens this year. The first is Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow. Here guests can purchase gingerbread triangles that created the gingerbread Spaceship Earth but in a decorating kit. The next Holiday Kitchen is Favorites of Festivals Past. Here guests can find menu items that were fan favorites from previous festival menus.
A new activity that is complimentary to guests is snowflake decorating! Right outside of CommuniCore Hall in CommuniCore Plaza, is where guests will find this activity and during select times there will be performances by JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season.
The final holiday experience, other than the entire festival, is Festive Fragrances presented by Scentsy. Stroll your way through this new seasonal display that is a snowglobe garden that features Scentsy’s seasonal scents. Guests can also purchase their favorite seasonal scent at CommuniCore Hall.
