With the excitement of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ being released to theaters, and yes it is amazing, Disney has also announced new features, for a limited-time only, to the parks to spotlight the new film. The new items include new galactic treats, a limited time character interaction, and what seems to be a new sipper!
In June 2021, Disneyland opened a new project inside Disney California Adventure Park called Avenger Campus. In this area you will find exclusive characters from the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, along with food, merchandise, and attractions! Adding to this amazing list of things to explore, Mantis, from Guardians of the Galaxy, will be joining Star-Lord for an epic “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!” You will find these two getting their groove on outside of the attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT!, which was previously the Hollywood Tower of Terror.
The new sipper that will be released at the theme parks is a replica of the carton that Rocket grabs in the beginning of the film, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, pops the straw into and walks away from Star-Lord sitting at a table. The new sipper also comes attached to a lanyard to easy transport it throughout the parks.
At Walt Disney World, there will also be a few special releases for the celebration of the movie. Connections Café, located inside of EPCOT, is currently serving Perfect Sovereign Waffle Bites and comes with a side of a berry sauce for dipping. Outside of the attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you will find a specialty cookie at the Mission SPACE: Popcorn Cart.
If you have not had a chance to see ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, it really is a great movie. Stay until the credits are fully over, you will not be disappointed!
