It’s time! The most wonderful, colorful, delightful event at EPCOT, The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! Guests will be inspired to get their creative juices flowing with all of the inspirational art happening around every corner. Don’t forget about the food that looks too good to eat. Let’s take a peek at the new foods at EPCOT Festival of the Arts this year!
Beginning January 12, 2024 and continuing through February 19, 2024, guests will be welcomed into EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and find themselves surrounded by artists from all over the world and food that will make your mouth water. This year there will be 18 Food Studios throughout the World Showcase with menus filled with delightful options. Guests will also be able to participate in the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine. This is a “food stroll” similar to the Cookie Stroll during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
The one item that collectors are thrilled about is the seasonal popcorn bucket! For this festival, the Imagination Pavilion will come to life in a replica of the building featuring Figment sliding over a rainbow and filled with rainbow popcorn! The collectors and lovers of Figment will be lining up to purchase this adorable bucket.
One of the Food Studios is The Deconstructed Dish. Here you will find two food items, the Deconstructed BLT and Deconstructed Key Lime Pie. The Deconstructed BLT is crafted of pork belly, an onion bread pudding, watercress espuma, and tomato jam as described by Disney Destinations. The Deconstructed Key Lime Pie is part of the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine and it is made of Key Lime Curd, “Key Lime” Mousse, a graham cracker type cake, and beautiful meringues. There are also beverages that will be offered at this location. A Deconstructed Strawberry Mint Julep with optional bourbon is the one to try!
Circling back to Figment, there is an entire Food Studio that will feature so much color and flavor. Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Little Sparks of Magic will have quite a few options for guests, other than the Figment Premium Popcorn Bucket. The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine item here is the Blueberry filled Pastry Tart with purple icing. Also on the menu is a beautiful slice of Rainbow Cake that is topped with freeze dried SKITTLES. Another item that is topped with the freeze dried SKITTLES is a cool Grape Smoothie. Also offered is an array of beers.
Two new foods at EPCOT Festival of the Arts for the year will be featured at The Craftsman Courtyard. The first item is a Grilled Pork Belly that is being served with a salsa verde with a grilled piece of sourdough bread and then topped with a broccoli rabe, and pickled peppers. The next option is a Grilled Skirt Steak served on a fresh French roll and topped with caramelized mushrooms and a blue cheese fondue.
Refreshment Port has a dessert that is Instagram worthy! This adorable Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie is shaped like a paint palette with colorful icing of red, yellow, and blue. Also being served at the Refreshment Port is a Gnocchi Poutine that is crafted of red wine braised beef and cheese curds.
The next Food Studio is VIbrante & Vivido: Encanto Cocina. Here guests will find another fabulous The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine item of Chorizo and Potato Empanada that is drizzled with a turmeric aioli and annatto aioli. Also found here is a gorgeous Passion Fruit filled Mango Cheesecake.
