Are you ready to experience where the magic meets the sea? Disney Destiny has had so many news releases this week and they have all been magical! From dining and lounges to entertainment options, we have so much to uncover! The theme for the ship is heroes and villains, and both worlds are colliding on this ship.
Each ship features characters on the stern of the ship along with the name of the ship. The Disney Destiny makes history with displaying the first Marvel Super Hero character, Spider-Man and Spider-Bots, webs and all, will be featured.

A favorite spot and the first area guests see when boarding the Disney Destiny, The Grand Hall will hold a one-of-a-kind figure, “Black Panther” from Marvel Studios film. Each ship has a different theme and character statue that represents the theme, and “Black Panther” absolutely was the perfect choice for the Heroes and Villains theme of Disney Destiny.
Each Disney Cruise Line ship has rotational dining for their main dinner venue. For the Disney Destiny, a brand-new experience is joining in on the fun. Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King is state to be “first-of-its-kind dining experience” by Disney Destinations. The dining will feature music from the film with live musicians and there will also be storytellers. The dining location will be inspired by the African savanna and windows that will show a depiction of sunrises and sunsets throughout the evening.
A new themed lounge will also join the ship, more for the villain fans. De Vil’s will be an adult exclusive lounge themed after the 2021 film Cruella and “One Hundred and One Dalmatians” animated film. Front and center will be a gorgeous piano, and the rest of the décor will be red, black, and white. I cannot wait to see the cocktail menu for this lounge.
The second announced lounge is The Sanctum. This lounge is inspired by “Doctor Strange” a Marvel Studios film. This lounge is described as a centrally located lounge that will offer entertainment, cocktails, and coffees. This makes me think it will be similar to The Bayou on the Disney Wish.
Speaking of the Disney Wish, this ship was the first in the fleet to offer a Marvel dining experience, World of Marvel, in the rotational dining. Disney Treasure followed suit and also will be offering the Marvel dining experience. We also have the official announcement that Disney Destiny will have the Marvel dining experience in the rotation, and will feature “Guardians of the Galaxy” Groot and Rocket as your hosts. I’m excited to see what they bring to the table!
