This character-filled drone show is a first at Walt Disney World resorts. “Disney Dreams Presented by AT&T” will take to the sky this week with two showings per evening. The shows are weather permitting and the schedule can be found at Disneyprings.com.
Each show features 800 drones that will fill the sky and dance to a soundtrack named “Disney Dreams that Soar.” The soundtrack will feature an original music piece plus songs from various films. Characters like Baymax are said to be twice the size of Spaceship Earth, inside EPCOT, during the performance. It is also noted by the show director, Tony Giordano, “..that no matter how old you are, or how much of a fan you are, you're going to see a character that you love.”
A note shared from Disney Destinations is that the perfect place to view this brand new, limited-time entertainment is along the waters edge in the Disney Springs West Side district. The performance will only last about ten minutes, but the memories will last a lifetime!
