When you think of an amusement park, you don’t always think of a nice sit down restaurant. Reviewed as the “World’s Best Theme Park Restaurant”, Mythos in Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios will put other restaurants to shame. This full-service sit down restaurant is inspired by a place that only the best Greek Gods would want to come eat at.

Walking up to the rocky exterior, you will see waterfalls and carvings of Gods. Off the bat you feel like you’re transported to a cave on a distant island. The interior is no different with the small streams and even more rock carvings. You can sit inside to make you really feel like you’re eating like one of the Gods, or you can take a step into the outdoor seating area. This will give you the opportunity to really take in the impressive views of Islands of Adventure. It’s an amazing place to be able to still get the park experience but also rest and relax in this mythical environment. Getting reservations here is one major benefit of using a vacation planner!
This menu has something for everyone. From lamb meatballs to grilled cheese, you can expect all ages to find something to fit their taste buds. To start off your meal, you will need to try the Spanakopita Dip. A savory blend of spinach, feta cheese, lemon and fresh herbs topped with za’atar spice, fresh cucumber, tomato, and olives. Hot, fresh pita chips are served on the side but as a tip you can also order it with soft and warm pita bread.

The Souvlaki Couscous Bowl is one of their well known dishes. This fresh bowl includes za’atar spiced couscous, feta cheese, fresh cucumber, marinated artichoke, Kalamata olives, spiced chickpeas, tzatziki, and tahini dressing. If you’re wanting something both refreshing and filling, this is the meal for you.

Another well known dish is the Fork, Knife, and Spoon Grilled Cheese. This takes a traditional 3 cheese sandwich and turns it into something only fit for the Gods. The sandwich itself is placed in a Tuscan tomato soup and topped with crispy pork belly. This sandwich will need to be on your food list for your next visit.
