More at Sea with Norwegian Cruise Line

Have you thought about taking a Norwegian Cruise Line vacation and noticed their really great promotion about the inclusions? Or, maybe you have joined the Latitude Rewards program and have sailed with Norwegian Cruise Line before to enjoy the special perks. Either way, Norwegian Cruise Line has recently revamped their special program that was known as Free at Sea. It is now called More at Sea, and does have a few minor changes to the program. Let’s see what guests can now experience with the new perks that began on 3-night sailings or longer from January 1, 2025 (and beyond).

The first change that guests may notice is the Excursion Credit. With the previous promotion it was just 1 -$50 credit per port that applied to guest 1 on the reservation. With More at Sea, the credit has increased to 1-$50 credit per tour applied to guest 1. This does mean that if you book 2 (or more) tours per port the $50 credit will be applied to each tour for guest 1 on the reservation.

Who doesn’t love specialty dining? With More at Sea, guests will receive even more food! With the previous promotion, guests received a soup OR salad, an entree, and a dessert. Now guests can order up to three appetizers and three desserts. This is only available for guests 1 and 2 on the reservation, but others can dining for an additional fee. In a balcony and above category guests will receive 1 specialty meal for 3 night sailings, 2 specialty meals for 4-6 night sailings, 3 specialty meals for 7 night sailings, 4 specialty meals for 8-11 night sailings, and 5 specialty meals for 12+ night sailings. If you’re staying in a lower category such as studio, interior, and ocean view, you still receive specialty meals. The amount of meals for those staterooms are as follows: 1 specialty meal for 3-7 night sailings, 2 specialty meals for 8-11 night sailings, and 3 specialty meals for 12+ night sailings.

The Wi-Fi Package has also seen an upgrade with the change in program. There are even more minutes and faster speeds included per guest. Guests do only receive access to one device at a time, but will be able to swap devices by logging out of one and into another. Previously the Wi-Fi was only available for guests 1 and 2. The minutes allowed have stayed the same, but with additional guests, that is more minutes that can be used throughout the cabin. Sailing 3-6 nights receive 75 minutes per guest; 7-11 night sailings receive 150 minutes per guest; 12+ night sailings receive 300 minutes per guest.

The next and final change is the Unlimited Open Bar. All guests in the cabin (ages 21 and older) must have the same package for the Unlimited Open Bar to be utilized. Norwegian Cruise Line has added even more premium brands to include in their drinks, over 100 cocktails, such as: Grey Goose, Casamigos, Woodford Reserve, and many more. The company has also removed the $15 cap for the Unlimited Open Bar. With the previous package, there was a $15 maximum coverage for a beverage and the guest would be responsible for the difference. The Unlimited Open Bar also includes soft drinks and juices and a 20% discount off all bottles of champagne and wine purchases.

There are other includes in the More at Sea like Free 3rd & 4th Guest, meaning they just pay taxes and fees for their sailing. The 2nd guest also receives free airfare when the 1st guest purchases airfare.
