There’s a preconceived notion that if you’re going to an all-inclusive resort, you are paying to ‘drannnnnnnnk’. That you are paying to over indulge, and get your monies worth in tequila. I don’t exactly know where this concept stemmed from, I do have a few ideas though (looking at you 90’s MTV Spring Break). Everyone wants to feel like they got the biggest bang for their buck while traveling, even if it’s in liquid form. I totally get it!
Whether you’re not a fan of alcohol, or have made a specific, conscious effort to exclude alcohol from your lifestyle (go YOU! You got this and you should be PROUD!), an all-inclusive resort is still a great vacation option where you can indulge in just as many foo-phooey fancy tropical drinks while soaking up the sun, and making it to the early morning yoga class without a headache! Alcohol free! Yes, yoga classes are also included at Palace Resorts!
Myself, and a few other Marvelous Mouse Travels Travel Agents were recently invited to visit and experience 7 Palace Resorts located in and around Cancun, Mexico. All of which were absolutely amazing and each resort had endless non-alcoholic beverage “Mocktail” options, which were all included, of course!
Here are my top 3 favorite Mocktails in Mexico and which spectacular all-inclusive Palace resort they can be found at:

Only 45 minutes from the Cancun airport, steps away from 5th Avenue, home to the best local restaurants, live entertainment, and shopping in the area. The ferry to Cozumel is visible from the pools and beach, and only a 5-minute walk away. The location of this resort is everything!
Right off the beautiful open atrium style entry to Playacar Palace is the Lobby Bar. Here, I was lucky enough to meet Ezequiel, pouring drinks with the biggest grin on his face. I asked him to make me his favorite mocktail. He didn’t clarify if it was his favorite to make or his favorite to drink, but he definitely enjoyed entertaining everyone while creating this masterpiece with Cotton Candy, Pineapple, Lime juice syrup and Peach Syrup. Look at that cute pineapple heart on top! Ezequiel calls this drink “Something Beautiful”, for obvious reasons!

Whether you hop on the 45-minute Ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel, or fly right into Cozumel airport, Cozumel Palace is where you’ll want to be! Known for being the snorkeler and divers’ paradise located on one of the largest, healthiest, and most colorful coral reefs around, Palancar Reef.
In between dives, check out the Flamingos Poolside Bar! I asked the lovely bartender to make me a good fruity mocktail. He asked if I wanted it on ice or blended and I told him to surprise me which he did. I was pleasantly surprised with a perfectly proportionate ratio of Mango and Strawberry. I watched him blend them separately and then strategically pour them so there was no ‘mixing’ of the two. He called it the Mango Tango and it most definitely reminded me of those Flintstone push-up popsicles from back in the day. So good!

Everything about Moon Palace the Grand is quite literally, Grand, including their extensive mocktail options at every one of their 12+ bars and restaurants. While eating the most incredible contemporary Asian dinner at Jade, I chose the Ice Tea Mocktail from the menu. It was absolute perfection. The splash of mango and lime to an everyday refreshing iced tea was so easy to sip and enjoy before, during, and after all the amazing food. It’s not too sweet or fruity which paired well with everything… including the mochi for dessert! Compliments to the chef AND the bartender!
