It has been some time since the news release of Universal Epic Universe, the new theme park set to open in Summer 2025 at Universal Orlando Resorts. Inside the theme park there will be quite a few new and exciting areas and attractions for guests to enjoy. One that is sure to be a popular destination inside the park is the expansion of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with the new addition being the Ministry of Magic. Discover Universal Blog has recently released some updates with more of what to expect inside the world of Universal Epic Universe.
The journey begins in the 1920’s in Paris and then travels to the 1990’s to the British Ministry of Magic, which is not done in either of the other two Wizarding World of Harry Potter areas at Universal Orlando Resorts. It also brings the world of “Fantastic Beasts” together with the Wizarding World and how they became one. Upon entering Celestial Park, make your way to the back of the park to find the portal that features a hand holding a wand, and this means you are in the right place.
At first glance, you think you have entered Paris, and while you have, it is Place Cachée, “a pocket of Paris catering to the witches and wizards of the 1920s.” Here guests will find shops and cafes. The design of the areas were created with the help of the film's production designers bringing the films to life for guest enjoyment.

With the details in place for the world, we also have some details on what to experience while visiting. A theater show, “Le Cirque Arcanus,” will include live performances and special effects. The Wizarding World has a way to make you believe in the magic in front of you, and this show is no different.
There will also be character interventions for the first time! Wizards and witches may roam the street, so keep your eyes peeled for that, but there will also be interactions inside windows. Discover Universal Blog states that “the world contains some of the smallest animated figures Universal Creative has ever developed.” This world is going to be so magical!
The interactive entertainment continues and the interactive wands will find their way to the new world. It is also a first for the opportunity to interact with portraits that actually reply in a personalized way.
If you have a taste for French inspired cuisine, look no further than Café L’air De La Sirène. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the venue will feature marble and mosaic pieces. A fan favorite, Butterbeer, can also be found inside the new park, but it has a different name. French of course, Bièraubuerre, has the same great taste.
While Paris has been fun, we need to move on to The Ministry of Magic. How do we get there? The Paris Metro-Floo station of course! Step into the Metro-Floo fireplace and be transported to The Ministry of Magic. Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is like no other, however the queue is also its own story. Similar to the other Harry Potter attractions, enjoying the queue helps guests understand the attraction even better. The attraction has Harry, Hermoine, Higgledy, and Ron on an action packed adventure to keep Umbridge from escaping her fate from the crimes committed with Lord Voldemort.
