Mickey’s Toontown will reopen as a vibrant symphony of sights, with interactive play areas, and more. There will be grassy play-areas to unwind, CenTOONial Park, a fountain with water tables, A dreaming tree with sculpted roots to crawl and explore.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will make its Disneyland debut! In the El CapiTOON Theater. The attraction will put you in the wacky and unpredictable cartoon world of Mickey and Minnie, where you board a train with Goofy as the engineer. This is one Zany out of control adventure everyone in your party is sure to love. This is set to open January 27, 2023 when the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration comes to life at the Disneyland Resort.
Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard, will be dedicated to all things play! It will incorporate a sound garden with ways to make wacky noises and an all-new elevated clubhouse! Step inside Goofy’s House and find interactive candy-making contraptions that only Goofy could imagine. The confectionary contraption begins outside at a beehive and makes its way through the home. Junior candymakers will be able to help Goofy make the candy while the household appliances make silly sounds to create a symphony.
Along the Goof Homestead you will find Donald’s Boat perched in the duck pond. The larger than life water lilies, balance beams, and toys in Donald’s Pond will help get the wiggles out. Kids are going to love making a splash here! Make sure to look into the boat through the portholes to witness the bubbles and fun inside the flooded vessel. Be sure to interact with familiar ducklings such as Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby.
If you prefer to get a little ‘nutty’ head on over to see Chip ‘n’ Dale and their GADGETcoaster. Here you will find the one-of-a-kind fun sized coaster created by none other than Gadget Hackwrench himself.
You will be able to once again step into the homes of Mickey and Minnie enjoying a self guided tour while discovering surprises in every room. You may even spot Mickey and Minnie in their houses greeting guests! Don’t forget to spin through the streets of Toontown as you follow Roger Rabbit at Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin! After all this exploring you are bound to have a snack attack coming on. Make sure to stop at Café Daisy where you can get some of Daisy’s Diner classics at your sidewalk table. You can also visit the Toontown Farmers Market at Good Boy! Grocers, a roadside stand for grab n go drinks and treats!
