I have some exciting news! Mickey’s Toontown is set to reopen on March 19, 2023! The first update is CenTOONial Park, an open grass concept park with room to run, laugh, and play for the entire family. Here you will also find a fountain that is also a water table!
Donald Duck’s boathouse is sure to be a hit with the kids as they make a splash around the pond! His house has seemed to sprung a leak, are you ready to get wet? Also, keep an eye out for Donald’s nephews too, they always have the best time!
Returning to Toontown you will also find the beloved houses of Mickey and Minnie, while still being able to walk in and explore, you might find some new and exciting surprises!
Also inside Toontown the newest attraction at Disneyland, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which has already begun providing guests with magical adventures. When Disneyland began celebrating Disney 100 Years of Wonder, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway also opened its doors for guests at the El CapiTOON Theatre. This attraction was first opened at Walt Disney World in March 2020 inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While they both offer the same general experience, guests that visit both parks will notice the subtle differences. The first main difference is the queue for the attraction. After all of the excitement at El CapiTOON Theatre, Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard is sure to keep the senses moving with a sound garden! Inside of Goofy’s home you will find yourself “making candy” with all of the appliances, be sure to keep your ears open for all of the crazy sounds. There will be tons of levers and buttons to keep the magic moving throughout the house.
After all of this running and playing the family is sure to need a refill on fuel. Toontown is offering two new refueling stations, the first being Café Daisy, and the second named Toontown Farmers Market at Good Boy! Grocers. I am so excited to see the food offers from both new restaurant locations!
