Menus at Festival of the Holidays 2024 at Disneyland

With the holiday season upon us, the amazing dining experiences at Disneyland Resort just keep coming! Disney Festival of the Holidays 2024 at Disneyland Resort brings joy, sounds, and food to Disney California Adventure Park. Strolling around the park and enjoying eats and sweets from the Festive Food Marketplace is just a wonderful way to spend the day in the park. Are you ready to explore what is in store for your taste buds this year?

One way to enjoy the festival is with this fun prepaid option. Disneyland Resort offers a Sip and Savor Pass which allows you to pre-purchase a card that offers digital coupons, in a four or eight count, that can be scanned and redeemed for select offerings and nonalcoholic beverages from select locations. These passes can be used throughout the entire festival, meaning they are not just subject to the first visit or day you are attending.

The first Festival Food Marketplace is A Twist on Tradition. Here guests can experience a Barbecue Pulled Pork Cornbread Bake that is served with a creamy slaw which is new for this season. The next option, also new, is a Turkey Galantine Croissant Muffin Slider that has a herb mayo and topped with a cranberry marmalade.

The next stop, Favorite Things, has what sounds like a sweet option. The Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron is shaped like a Mickey head made with a chocolate macaron that has a vanilla buttercream and date cake center with a salted toffee sauce. A Spiced Coconut Cocktail also graces the menu and could pair perfectly with the Braised Pork Belly Adobo that is served with garlic rice.

Who doesn’t love Grandma’s home cooking? At Grandma’s Recipes, guests will find a twist on a nostalgic menu for some. Returning to the park is the Barbacoa Tamal de Res with Oaxaca cheese, tomatillo salsa, and a drizzle of crema. However new for this year is a Cookie Dough Yule Log that is filled with a mix of chocolate chip cookie dough and white chocolate mousse then topped with a chocolate buttercream frosting.

Merry Mashups, the next festival kitchen, is where things come together to make one dish. Like the Holiday Mash Bowl, bringing an entree of chicken piled on top of cheddar mashed potatoes, then covered with turkey gravy and a cranberry stuffing crunch. For dessert guests will find a M&M’s Peanut Butter Fudge Cake on the menu. This cake has a chocolate fudge base that is then filled with a peanut praline plus M&M’s Peanut Butter Minis, it is then topped with a a salted peanut butter glaze and a dollop of vanilla Chantilly.

While those were most of the Festival Food Marketplaces, other locations throughout Disney California Adventure Park also participate in the event and offer seasonal menu items. Aunt Cass Cafe, located inside San Fransokyo Square, will be offering a Pumpkin Spice Bread Pudding that features a graham cracker crust that is then topped with a pumpkin cheesecake filling plus whipped cream.

A twist on pizza and holiday foods can be spotted at BoardWalk Pizza & Pasta. The Holiday Pizza can be purchased by the slice or the entire pie and features items like turkey, roasted butternut squash, cranberries, fig jam, and a cranberry sauce. Sounds like an entire meal transformed to a new way of enjoying it.

Looking for a different twist on food? The Holiday Stuffing Corn Dog could be a perfect choice! The corn dogs at Corn Dog Castle are amazing, and the Holiday Stuffing Corn Dog might just be added to the list of amazing options with its cranberry-mustard sauce.

Continuing through the park, Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill has a new Fried Arroz Con Leche on the menu. After the fried arroz is rolled in a cinnamon sugar for the perfect coating, it is served on a dulce de leche whip and a drizzler of dulce de leche sauce.

If I’m looking for a hearty and filling choice, I always head to Smokejumpers Grill. The Hearty Loaded Fries sounds fabulous this year and will be a must try! Featuring the crinkle-cut fries that are topped with a sausage gravy then fried chicken pieces and cheese! There is also a new shake on the menu. A Santa Hat Shake features a marshmallow rim that is covered in shredded coconut and a whipped cream swirl on top of the shake.

Of course we have some seasonal churros on the menus! At a variety of locations the different churros will be offered, be sure to use your app to find a specific one or try them all! The Peanut-Marshmallow Churro has a drizzle of marshmallow creme, then a drizzle of peanut butter sauce, and topped with a sprinkle of chocolate chips.  A Popcorn Tin Churro has a coating of white cheddar popcorn dust and a drizzle of caramel sauce, finished off with some buttered popcorn which is new for the season. Finally, and the one I am most interested to try, the Dutch Apple Churro. A cinnamon and spice dusted churro is then topped with a Dutch apple sauce and holiday colored sprinkles.
