Marvelous Packing Tips for Xcaret

Our team of Marvelous Mouse Agents recently returned from Xcaret, and we are happy to share our packing tips for Xcaret to ensure you're well-equipped for your paradise adventure. Xcaret is a destination that offers the perfect blend of adventure and paradise. It's nestled in the heart of Riviera Maya in Mexico.  The all inclusive package includes entry to XCARET, XEL-HÁ, XPLOR, XENSES, XOXIMILCO, XPLOR FUEGO, XAVAGE AND XENOTES.

These parks are nature themed, with many attractions, underground rivers, coral reefs, ancient ruins, zip lining and more. We want to make sure you pack properly to be able to fully enjoy everything it has to offer.  While you probably have a standard packing list for vacations, a trip to Xcaret requires a few additional items if you plan to enjoy the parks:

• Multiple Swimsuits: Pack several swimsuits, as you'll be in the water often, whether at the parks or the resort. Include rash guards and women should also consider a swim skirt for more coverage during activities. You will need swimsuits more than you need regular clothing!
• Sun Hats: A sun hat with a wide brim protects your face and neck from the sun while exploring the parks.
• Water Shoes: Bring high-quality water shoes for walking and water-based activities.
• Sunscreen: Sunscreen is crucial in the hot, sunny weather. Choose a high SPF and reapply often. (Reef-safe is recommended)
• Insect Repellent: Mosquitoes can be bothersome, especially at night, especially around the rivers.
• Stomach Settlers: An upset stomach can ruin your park experience. Strengthen your gut with probiotics before the trip and pack Tums, Pepto, Dramamine, Tylenol, Dulcolax.
• Waterproof Band-Aids: Lots of brings more chances to need these.
• Waterproof Phone Bag:Protect your phone and photos
• Water Bottle: Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
