When life isn’t going how you want it to, take a trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland and life will be the bubbles! With the recent release of Disney’s The Little Mermaid live action film, it is only right to create new magical snacks to represent the new film! Throughout both Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland Resorts in Anaheim, California, you can find a few new sweet treats.
At Disney’s Magic Kingdom located at Walt Disney World, you will discover a new soft serve ice cream cone available at Storybook Treats. The Purple Cheesecake and Strawberry swirl ice cream sit atop a sea green cone, with a sprinkle of candy pearls, finished off with two white chocolate purple shells. This beautiful dessert is sure to make a splash in the parks!
Right next door to Storybook Treats is another dining location,The Friar’s Nook , is serving a new rendition of a cookies and cream milkshake called Divinely Diabolical. Another amazing treat that is topped with purple whipped cream, a sprinkle of candy pearls, with a shimmering white chocolate purple seashell. Also found at The Friar’s Nook, you will find a refreshing beverage, Bubbles of the Sea, which is green tea, lemon juice, pineapple juice, and guava juice mixed to perfection and topped with green boba pearls! This is the perfect drink for a midday break in the June heat. Bubbles of the Sea can be purchased at multiple locations throughout the parks.
Heading into Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will find a fantastic new milkshake! This delightful mango-guava-ginger milkshake is topped with a beautiful pineapple-mango doughnut that is shaped like a seashell topped with a purple glaze.
Disneyland’s new Little Mermaid inspired treats are nothing short of amazing. With the new macaroon, called Purple Pineapple shell Macaroon, it is shaped like a shell, filled with a pineapple flavored buttercream, and holds a beautiful chocolate pearl! You can find this new treat at Edelweiss Snacks located inside Disneyland Park. Inside Disney California Adventure Park the new buzz is the Mermaid Strawberry Cake. It was only available for a very short period of time, 3 days to be exact, but it was beautiful while it lasted!
