The Disneyland resort has shared that they will be bringing back some of their special festivals in 2022. Two they have been announced are Lunar New Year and Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Both of these festivals take place in Disney’s California Adventure theme park. The Lunar New Year celebration will take place from Jan. 21 through Feb. 13, 2022, and Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will run from March 4 through April 26, 2022.
These festivals have many different elements to offer. Some guests prefer the delicious tastings of food and beverages while others enjoy the unique and fun festival experiences and characters. The Lunar New Year is a celebration that commemorates traditions of Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures. This year will be the year of the Tiger and none other than Tigger himself will join in on the fun, along with beloved Disney characters including Mulan and Mushu, Mickey and Minnie, the Three Little Pigs and more! Some of the fun activities will include multicultural performances, special activities, culinary delights, beautiful décor, and even celebratory merchandise.
The Food and Wine festival is a great way for friends and family to enjoy delicious food and beverages from the multiple marketplaces representing the California regions and neighborhoods. Guests have the opportunity to attend special signature events will also be available to book and purchase, including the Carthay Circle Winemaker Receptions, and Wine, Beer and Mixology Education & Tasting Seminars. These events both in Disneyland and Walt Disney World are truly different from anywhere else. From the high caliber mouthwatering offerings, to the live entertainment, and cultural experiences the festivals really are worth trying to see! Make sure you come with an empty stomach and your dancing shoes because you will be ready to join in on the fun!
