WrestleMania–the biggest sports entertainment event of the year. Hundreds of thousands of people, most wrestling fans but some just along for the fun, descend onto the host city, coming together to experience an entertainment extravaganza like no other.
This was one of the things on my dream list. This year we traveled to Orlando and, for once, it wasn’t for Mickey. We joined 70,000 other fans at Camping World Stadium for a five-hour event that witnessed the return of the Hardy Boyz, the engagement of John & Nikki, and the retirement of the Undertaker. The energy can’t be easily described. When you get that many passionate fans together it is simply electric. The cheers, boos, tears, and applause – it gives you everything you could have hoped for and more.
I'd highly encourage you to attend Wrestlemania weekend at least once in your life. Much like Disney, planning early for this is best, and in this case will save you money. Many hotels in the host city open up a year in advance, offer free cancellation and the earlier you book, the cheaper it will be. Hotel prices will go up the more people book them, so waiting could cost you hundreds of dollars.
