Each year families fill the parks for the special summer holiday to enjoy a marvelous show in the sky for July 4th. The large celebration that packs Disney’s Magic Kingdom every year has just become even better! The firework displays at Walt Disney World are always the most magical show, I didn’t think they could get any better. My favorite saying is “Disney magic is real”, and I still stand by that statement, and they always seem to outdo themselves.
For today's celebration, Disney Parks will be adding something special for the 100 years of Disney. This morning an aircraft did a flyover of Cinderella’s Castle at 10:30 am. This was also in celebration of Walt and Roy Disney being part of the military during World War 1, and ever since beginning, the Walt Disney Company has shown support for the military.
The special nighttime spectacular shown at Disney’s Magic Kingdom is called “Disney’s Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.” Last night on July 3rd and again tonight on July 4th, guests will experience this amazing display instead of the regularly scheduled “Happily Ever After.” Fireworks spectacular shows are based on weather permitting, and could change without notice.
The celebration will not only be above Cinderella’s Castle at 9:20 p.m. for those two select evenings. Guests will be entertained throughout the park as they will find DJs in multiple locations!
