We are so excited Sangria University is back! Our Marvelous Mouse agent Chelsea Gianna was able to experience this fun event last year and now you can too!
First you’ll receive a little history lesson from your sommelier instructor while you sip on 4 different sangrias! The sommeliers keep everything super interesting and are full of fun facts not only about sangria but also how it relates to Disney. You’ll get a glass each of a white sangria, red sangria, sparkling sangria and rosè sangria. All of these are available to order during regular hours at Three Bridges. I personally recommend getting the whole flight.
Next, you’ll be able to start mixing up your very own sangria! You will be able to choose which wine you’d like to use and your sommelier will bring a glass of it to you. You can also choose a liqueur. At your station you’ll have different fruits & garnishes as well as juices and a mixing spoon. You can then get to work mixing ingredients to craft your perfect sangria!
When you’re all finished enjoying your personal drink, you’ll receive a certificate declaring that you are now a master sangria sommelier! There is also an awesome sangria university photo frame you can have your picture taken with as well.
Overall, this is such a great experience! You’ll leave with some knowledge, sangria recipe cards so you can recreate them at home, and great memories!
This is, in my opinion, one of the best adults only experiences at Disney World. It also would be great for a birthday celebration or bachelorette/bachelor party! Classes are on weekends but if you have a larger group you can schedule a private class on another day.
