It’s no secret that Disney Cruise Line is a family favorite. But ask any kid onboard, and they’ll tell you the Oceaneer Club is the real reason why! This incredible kids’ space is packed with imagination, adventure, and just the right touch of Disney magic.

You can find the Oceaneer Club on on Disney Destiny on Deck 2, right below the Grand Hall. There are both stairs AND a slide to enter the area. The slide ends inside the kids club! You will register your children on embarkation day, and then they will scan in with their Disneyband until you come back to scan them back out! There is no extra cost to visit the Oceaneer Club and hours may vary depending on the day, so check your Navigator App to see each day’s hours! Outside of Open House hours, this space is reserved for children ages 3 to 10 years old, who are fully toilet-trained.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club features five uniquely themed play spaces—Mickey & Minnie Captain’s Deck, the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, and Marvel Super Hero Academy. Each one is thoughtfully designed to spark creativity and immerse children in the magic of Disney storytelling from the moment they step inside. It’s no wonder this becomes a favorite spot for kids onboard! Let’s take a closer look at what makes each space so special:

While this space can be enjoyed by all, Mickey & Minnie’s Captain Deck was designed for the littlest children and toddlers. This area is essentially a cruise-themed playground with lots of sensory-style games! During select times throughout the sailing, toddlers from “it’s a small world” nursery may have access to this part of the club to explore.

My favorite touches in this space are the interactive Disney Cruise Ships on the wall that kids can move around on the map, and the area that allows kids to feel like they are at the wheel!

This area is perfect for any children who dream of becoming an Imagineer. Here they will explore how Imagineers create magic by participating in crafts, experiments, and hands-on activities! The walls are lined with little Disney Easter eggs! And in the Ride Studio, kids can design their own roller coasters and test them out virtually!

My favorite part of this area is the Ride Studio! Getting to design and test out a roller coaster AT SEA is such a memorable experience!

One of my personal favorite spaces inside Oceaneer Club is Fairytale Hall. It is sure to be any princess-lovers favorite too!
This enchanting area is made up of three distinct spaces, each inspired by a beloved Disney story: Rapunzel’s Art Studio, Belle’s Library, and Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus.

Here, kids can unleash their creativity through hands-on arts and crafts projects like painting and making their own floating lanterns. Some of my favorite details are hidden right on the walls. Be sure to keep an eye out for Pascal and Rapunzel’s growth chart on the walls!
In this cozy, storybook-inspired room, kids don’t just read the story, they become part of it. With the help of the enchanted painting above the mantel, your little sailors can act out classic tales and bring their favorite characters to life. The rooms details truly make you feel like you have entered into Belle’s personal library, and the nods to her story include things in the cabinets and the paintings on the walls
Step into Arendelle and join Olaf for a series of interactive, gesture-based games. And there’s another large table perfect for crafting and drawing! It’s a playful and immersive experience that’s kids will come back to again and again.

The Disney Destiny is jam packed with spaces for Marvel fans to enjoy and that includes the littlest heroes! Marvel Superhero Academy allows “young recruits” to train as the next generation of Super Heroes!
They will be able to design their own super suit and choose powers based on their favorite Marvel Heroes and then put that suit to the test in a virtual battle in a gesture-based game!

Make sure to look around, because the little details in this space are so fun! It’s so fun to see Star Lord and Captain Marvel’s suit! And all the fun Black Panther details are exciting too!

The Story behind Star Wars: Cargo Bay is so much fun. Kids will study and manage different creatures from the Star Wars universe such as Loth-cats, porgs, and worrts! While completing a series of different assignments, kids may even be greeted by some friendly faces, like Rey and Chewbacca! Be sure to look around and see what little nods to Star Wars movies you can find!

From imaginative play to hands-on adventures, every room in the Oceaneer Club is crafted to spark creativity and joy. Your kids will fall in love with this magical space—and they’ll be asking to go back the moment they leave!
And don’t worry, grown-ups can experience the magic too. Most sailings include Open House hours for guests of all ages, so check your Navigator app onboard to find out when you can step inside and see the wonder for yourself.
