It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Starting this week Disneyland is bringing the holiday season. Guests can enjoy this experience until January 9,2022. Disneyland Park, Disney’s California Adventure Park, the downtown Disney district and the hotels of the Disneyland resort will all be taking part in the festivities!
Starting in Disneyland, Mickey and Minnie will be wearing their holiday attire throughout the season. But that’s not all! The rest of the gang will have new ensembles as well. This includes: Goofy, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow. Guests can find their pals in Town Square. As guests head down Main Street, USA they can admire the 60 foot gorgeously decorated Christmas tree that has nearly 1,800 ornaments. On their way to Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, guests can stop in at all-new, year-round holiday store, Plaza Point.
But there’s more.. guests can enjoy the first parade since reopening, “A Christmas Fantasy.” This parade will be followed by “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular also returning this year!
Disney’s California Adventure will be celebrating the Festival of Holidays this year. This event showcases sounds and tastes of a diverse season of celebrations, including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day.
There will be live entertainment, themed merchandise, and culinary delights.
The celebration comes alive with “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” as Disney characters host a fun street party. All different dancers will be accompanied by Mickey and Minnie in their fiesta best. There will also be appearances by Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ all-new musical comedy, “Encanto,” inspired by the people and cultures of Colombia. The film opens in theaters November 24th.
The holidays are going to bring many experiences and events but the best part is the decor. Even Cars Land will be decked out for the holidays! This is just the half of what will be coming stay tuned for more fun events!
