Now that Halloween is over, we can officially celebrate the magical holidays of Winter. And what better way to do that than with the new foodie guide of the holiday treats at Disneyland! From sweet to savory, and everything in between, guests will find something to dazzle their taste buds during their holiday season visit to the parks. The official kickoff of the holiday season in Disneyland parks will be on November 10, 2023 and continue on through the New Year and ending on January 7, 2024. Let’s see what the culinary chefs at Disneyland have whipped up this year!
With over 20 food and beverage locations/kiosks, guests will find plenty to refuel with during their busy park day. First up on the festive menu is our little green friends over at Alien Pizza Planet, the Santa Alien Macaron. The beautifully decorated green pastry features a bright purple Santa hat and is filled with chocolate ganache and a marshmallow cream.
Need a beverage to rehydrate? Head over to the Bengal Barbeque for a delicious Jingle Julep. This drink will be both refreshing and reenergizing. Made with a frozen white-hot chocolate base, the cup has a cookie butter drizzle around it, and topped with a pretzel rod.
The sweets are all I need over at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor! The new Peppermint Sundae will surely hit the spot. With two generous size scoops of peppermint ice cream and cheerfully decorated with a dollop of whipped cream, crushed peppermint pieces, and those famous stuffed cookies as ears, this sweet treat will keep you moving throughout the parks.
Could you be looking for something a little more filling to refuel? Hungry Bear Restaurant will be offering a new BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger that will feature a red pepper cheese sauce topped with onion rings and of course BBQ sauce. Also on the menu for the holiday season will be a Blood Orange Lemonade, yum!

Stopping by the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe will have the menus of all menus for the holidays. The Thanks-mas Sandwich, Turkey Pot Pie Soup, and Ham and Pineapple Toasted Sandwich will all be returning this year as delicious savory menu items. While the new savory menu items include a Chicken and Bacon Corn Chowder, there are also some amazing new sweet treats as well. An adorable (and must have) Mickey Ornament Macaron that is filled with peppermint mousse and a chocolate ganache; Chocolate Cake Snow Globe made with layers of chocolate cake, a layer of chocolate mousse, and topped with a chocolate glaze and buttercream Christmas tree and snowy powder.

A classic Disney treat, Beignets, will return in a whole new way! The Mickey Shaped Beignets can be served with a peppermint powdered sugar dusting instead of the classic powdered sugar offering. These can be found at Mint Julep Bar inside Disneyland Park.
Even funnel cakes are receiving a holiday makeover! At Stage Door Cafe, guests will have the opportunity to experience a Holiday Wreath Funnel Cake. Formed into the shape of a wreath, the funnel cake will have a new apple cider drizzle on top along with freshly baked apple slices and whipped cream, finally to be topped off with holiday sprinkles for the festive finish.

Finishing off strong with the special holiday churros is the only way to do it. The cart is located at small world Promenade and at Casey Jr. Circus Train will feature a new Gingerbread Churro that is rolled in gingerbread sugar and served with a Butterscotch Dipping Sauce. The cart near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will have a new Chestnut Churro that is a classic churro with chestnut sauce drizzle and crushed meringue topping as described by Disney Destinations. The Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters Churro Cart will have a Chocolate Sugar Churro that will be served with a Peppermint Ganache Dipping Sauce. The Churro Cart new Haunted Mansion will be Sugar Plum Churro that has a raspberry sugar and served with a Marshmallow Dipping Sauce. Last, but certainly not least is the Mint Chip Churro that has a chocolate cookie dusting with minty sugar and served with a Mint-Chocolate Dipping Sauce, this can be found at the cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle and at Town Square. So many churros, so little time. Which sounds the most amazing to you?
As with every Disney celebration, we can all count on the sweet treats at Candy Palace, Candy Kitchen, and Pooh Corner to be done right. The Mickey Christmas Lights Apple is a caramel and white chocolate apple, made to look like a Mickey head with adorable little candies created to look like Christmas lights. A Holiday Mickey Cake Pop looks like the traditional cake pop but with a holiday twist of green buttons. Minnie Mouse also gets her own holiday version of the caramel apple with the Minnie Santa Hat Apple which is decorated with red sugar, white chocolate coated candies, and a white chocolate Santa hat. The final apple is a beautiful blue Snowflake Apple that features a large white chocolate snowflake on the front. There are also a variety of cereal treats and cake pops that are also holiday themed.
A hop, skip, and a jump away is Disney California Adventure Park where there are more treats to be found! Award Wieners will have three new menu items for the holidays. A Hollywood Beef Dip is the perfect way to recharge for the rest of the day. It is served on a toasted hoagie roll and topped with an avocado spread, provolone cheese, fried pickles, caramelized onions, and served with a cup of jalapeno-spiced au jus sauce. The sweeter side of the menu consists of Milk and Cookies Funnel Cake Fries, which sound exactly as you would think. Funnel cake fries and a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream drizzled with caramel and cute little mini cookies. How fun is that?
Baymax Bread has been a hit since it hit the streets of SanFransokyo Square. With the seasonal menu options being added throughout the parks, Boudin Bread Cart also has a few adorable options. A Christmas Tree Pull-apart Sourdough Bread, Snowman Sourdough Bread, and a Candy Cane Sourdough Bread. All three of these items are plant based, and absolutely adorable! If they taste anything like the Baymax Bread, they will be flying off the shelves just as quickly! The Christmas Tree Pull-apart Sourdough Bread will also be available at Mortimer’s Market.
Right down the way in Cars Land, the Cozy Cone Motels are dishing up some festive treats as well. Some returning from previous years, but others have some new offerings. The Cozy Cone Motel 1- Churros will have a new Cranberry Yogurt Churro. This delicious new churro has a cinnamon sugar coating, a drizzle of cranberry yogurt sauce, then topped with crushed pretzels and sprinkles. The Cozy Cone Motel 4- Frozen Cone-Coctions will offer a Gingerbread Mule for the season. With a mix of cinnamon whiskey, ginger beer, gingerbread syrup, and some lemon juice, this beverage will warm your insides up quickly. A little further down the road at Flo’s V-8 Cafe, guests will find a Gingerbread Shake, which everyone can enjoy. The gingerbread-spiced milkshake is served with an adorable little holiday themed bundt cake on top.
Maybe you need something refreshing? Hollywood Lounge has the perfect beverage options, 6 new options, that will boost your holiday spirit. The Cran-Raspberry Refresher is a splendid mix of raspberry lemonade, topped with Sprite, and a sprig of mint. Five of the six options do contain alcohol which include an Imperial Black Ale, Seaborn Merry Cranberry Margarita, a Gin Lavender Lemonade, Smoky Hibiscus Orange Cocktail, and finally a Shimmering Apple Pie Cocktail. The Shimmering Apple Pie Cocktail sounds absolutely delicious, it contains Cinnamon Whiskey, sour mix, green apple liquor, pineapple juice and even gold edible glitter as described by Disney.
Smokejumpers Grill will be offering a fabulous looking Caramel Crispy Churro Shake crafted with caramel flavoring, dulce de leche, and some crispy churro cereal pieces. Don’t forget the whipped cream, but instead of the cherry the shake will have chocolate garnish. Also being poured at Smokejumpers is a Hibiscus Blueberry Agua Fresca. A blueberry puree base and a mix of hibiscus syrup and lime juice will have you doing the hula all the way through Buena Vista Street.
I always like to end on a sweet note if I can, and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff and Trolley Treats did not disappoint on that. From cake pops to cereal treats, these two locations have a large selection of sweet treats that are sure to capture your hearts. Like mentioned above, the caramel and chocolate covered apples will be available in a wide variety of decor along with those adorable little Holiday Minnie Cake Pops and Mickey Gingerbread Cereal Treats. New this year is a Peppermint Bark that is made from dark chocolate and white chocolate mix with festive sprinkles and mini marshmallows.
