Guests from all over the world visit Walt Disney World each year, especially during the holiday season. EPCOT, located inside Walt Disney World, has an entire holiday season full of experiences, food, and surprises! Recently announced by Disney Destinations is that Santa Claus is returning to the Odyssey Pavilion. From November 24th through December 24th, yes Christmas Eve, Santa will be welcoming guests of all ages for a photo opportunity!
The World Showcase, inside of EPCOT, will be welcoming storytellers from around the world! In select pavilions, guests will enjoy experiencing tales and traditions from those countries. Announced has been Barn Santa inside Norway Pavilion, Chinese Lion Dancer representing and commemorating the Lunar New Year, and Hanukkah. Each pavilion will also be decorated with their respective holiday decorations.
The Holiday Kitchens and Cookie Stroll are also making their return for 2023. With more than 15 Holiday Kitchens dishing up fabulous tasty meals, and some even offering the opportunity to try some delicious cookies. When you purchase five cookies from around the World Showcase and receive their stamp in your festival passport, guests can return their passports to the Holiday Sweet & Treats Holiday Kitchen for a specialty cookie prize! This activity can be done over multiple days, and is not required to be completed in one night. It’s a great reason to make your way back to EPCOT each day!
Ready for more of a fun adventure inside of EPCOT? Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt will take guests young and old throughout the World Showcase on the hunt for their tradition. This scavenger hunt can be purchased at a few retail locations, and the prize can be redeemed even if you are unable to finish the hunt.
