Holiday Eats at Universal Studios Hollywood

Southern California generally stays “warm,” or at least to those who live in a colder climate it feels warm. However, Universal Studios Hollywood has a great lineup to help guests feel warm and cozy inside, plus ones that will subside the sweet tooth! While some of the previous holiday menu items are returning, we are making room for new items in our hearts!  Are you ready to find out about the holiday eats at Universal Studios Hollywood?

Inspired by the film, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas," Who Pudding has made its way into everyone's heart. With flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and cream cheese mousse, Whos of all sizes will love this treat! Chef Julia Thrash took the idea right from the film and recreated it with her own flare.

Another idea from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is the Who-ville Present Cookie. This sugar cookie represents the presents that were stacked up under the trees awaiting morning. In the icing decoration, there is also a peek of what seems to be the Grinch's reflection in the present as he prepared to take them away.

The next delicious item is the Cocoa Cookie. Inspired by the drink with a chocolate cookie and a mixture of spices, topped with chocolate covering, festive sprinkles, and mini marshmallows! This will absolutely hit the spot for a chocolate lover.

Now, on to the beverages! Made as both a cocktail and a mocktail, the Feliz Navidad features flavors of pink lemonade, a sparkling lemonade, and even a guava puree. The drink is then topped with two gummy Christmas tree treats and the cup features a green sugar rim.

Mexican Coffee is the next item to make the menu for the holiday season. Crafted with espresso liquor, chocolate liquor, coffee, reposado tequila, and Ibarra simple syrup, this drink will have you feeling nice and toasty for your time in the park.

Another nice and cozy cocktail is the Orr…Nice. Featuring flavors of amaretto, cinnamon, lemon juice, ginger ale, and chocolate bitters, this bourbon-based beverage will bring the festive feelings straight to your core. To make it even better, it is garnished with a gingerbread biscotti.

The next beverage looks like a bright winter day, blue with a touch of white. The Winter Mojito features a coconut base that is crafted with coconut milk, rum, lime juice, mint, and finally a sparkling lime yuzu. To make the blue wintery vibe top, a blue cucacao floater meets the coconut base.

Finally, a gift that keeps on giving is Abuelo's Regalo. A tequila and brandy blend meet with a spiced apple cider, splash of pear juice, and ginger beer creates this festive drink. Abuelo’s Regalo translates to grandpas present and make this the present you had to your adult friend (or maybe for yourself) while visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The rim is covered in a churro sugar rim, and topped with a dried cinnamon apple chip.

The holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood may be almost over for the season, but there is always next year and now is the perfect time to start planning. The best gift to give is the gift of travel, and let Marvelous Mouse Travels take the stress out of planning your next Universal destination vacation!
