So many holiday activities, so little time. If you plan it right, there could be so much time during your Walt Disney World vacation to experience all of the magical holiday activities in and around the parks and resorts. Are you ready to explore what seems to be the endless possibilities of experiences?

A must-do for our family with each visit is heading to Disney Springs! It’s the magic of Walt Disney World without the theme park ticket. The shopping, the dining, and the entertainment bring so much joy to the area. The most exciting adventure in my opinion is the Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth. Walking through, guests can find Christmas trees decorated as their favorite movie, franchise, or characters. For those guests with MagicBand+, even more magic is bound to happen! So far we have films like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Lilo and Stitch, and Coco with announcements of trees. There are also franchise trees like Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney Animation Pixar that will have trees in the stroll.

Shopping is definitely one of our holiday activities, and Disney Springs also has all of your holiday shopping covered with the wide variety of retail stores onsite. While shopping during the evening, be on the lookout for the nightly snowfall, which adds even more magic to your visit to Florida! On the dining side of the area, there are select restaurants that are adding seasonal menu items.
Several resorts on Walt Disney World property display stunning trees for the holiday season, and some even have a marvelous gingerbread house that is handcrafted each year by the Disney culinary team. Be on the lookout for more information on those resorts and where you can find them.

Inside the parks is an experience in itself. Each park presents its very own unique Christmas tree for guests to enjoy. At Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Elsa, Anna, and Olaf will bring Arendelle to the castle for “Frozen Holiday Surprise.” Once the castle is transformed, it remains that way for the remainder of the evening! This show also has enchanted features for those guests with MagicBand+.
If you’re really into the dad jokes, and need a little holiday cheer, be sure to stop by the Jungle Cruise as it is presented with the holiday layover as Jingle Cruise.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios also joins in on the holiday cheer. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear add a little festive wear to their everyday wear with a Santa hat, and a new holiday vest.
A festival that celebrates so many cultures from around the world can be found at EPCOT. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins in November and runs through the end of the year. Traditions, storytelling, and holiday treats are located around the World Showcase. The Candlelight Processional narrators have also been released, and now is the time to plan your vacation accordingly.

There is a separate blog on the brand new experiences coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, be on the lookout for that. If you are ready to experience the magic of the holiday season at Walt Disney World, be sure to contact Marvelous Mouse Travels today!
