In a recent blog, we talked about all of the exciting events that happen in conjunction with Hispanic and Latin American Month inside the Disney theme parks. From September 15, 2024 through October 15, 2024, guests can experience different cuisines from the Hispanic and Latin American cultures. Let’s explore the food and beverage options that are currently available in the parks!
Starting at Disneyland Resort and inside Disneyland Park. With only one restaurant, Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, offering a new and special item for the month. The new menu item is a Torta Cubana. This sandwich features breaded steak with layers of sliced ham, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, jalapeno mayo, panela cheese, guacatillo sauce, and beans.
Across the way at Disney California Adventure Park there are three locations that will have special menu items, all of which will be available through November 14, 2024. Award Wieners, the specialty hot dog location, will have two new menu items. Torta de Milanesa is a Beef Milanesa with grilled ham and panela cheese. It is then topped with jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions, and a spread of avocado that is served on a Telera roll. The second menu item is a Stuffed Pan Dulce which is filled with a cream and macerated berries in a pan dulce (sweet bread).
The next two restaurants feature the same specialty menu item. Hollywood Lounge and Studio Catering is where guests will find a Chile Relleno Burrito. This burrito consists of rice, beans, and pico de gallo, along with salsa roja, chile relleno, and crema. All of these fresh and delicious ingredients are wrapped in a flour tortilla and served with a side of tortilla chips with salsa roja.
If you’re looking for a souvenir that also doubles as a drink, look no further than the adorable Coco Floral Skull Sipper. This fun addition can be found at multiple locations throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. They are limited in availability and two per customer during purchase.
In the area, but not visiting the parks? Multiple locations inDowntown Disney District and Pixar Place Hotel will feature a few new items for Hispanic and Latin American Month. Pixar Place Hotel is home of Great Maple Modern American Eatery. A Tres Leches Doughnut has been added to the menu and it is made of their doughnut and topped with evaporated milk, condensed milk, and cream.

Downtown Disney District has seven different eatery locations offering special menus, but only five of them have brand new menu items. First we have Tienda, which has Chef’s Special Aguas Frescas. This is a daily special selection so it’s a surprise each day that you visit until October 15th. The next location is Ballast Points Brewing Co. Here guests will find a Chile Relleno Burger that is crafted of ½ pound beef and topped with a pepper jack cheese, a poblano mayo, and finally a chile relleno and tomato salsa.
Another fabulous choice is Naples Ristorante e Bar at Downtown Disney District. The new addition, Quesabirria Pizza, sounds like a must-do for my family! The fresh pizza dough is topped with super fresh mozzarella cheese, a slow-braised beef birria, and finally shredded Chihuahua cheese. The final touches are a sprinkle of diced onions and cilantro. The pizza is served with a side of consume.
If you’re looking for a special dinner, Paseo is the place to dine! A three-course meal featuring flavors from Latin America. The three-courses include Kanpachi Crudo, Pork Belly Chicharron, and Quesadilla de Pan.
The final restaurant offering special menu items is Centrico, which has two new offerings! Chicken Tamal and Tamal de Rajas are those two items, both of which sound great! The chicken Tamal is a corn husk that is filled with braised chicken, pickled cauliflower, watermelon, carrots, and radish. Finally, the Tamal de Rajas is also filled with watermelon, pickled cauliflower, carrots, and radish, but it also includes a Mexican cheese blend and rajas.
While that may be the end of the options at Disneyland Resort, over at Walt Disney World there is a wide variety of more options! Most of the parks always offer a variety of Hispanic and Latin American cuisine, but there are quite a few new offerings added just for the celebration of the month.
Disney Springs is the place to try the new options. Amorette’s Patisserie created the Guava and Cheese Mille-Feuille which is crispy puff pastry layered with a guava mousse, cream cheese mousse, and a passion fruit gel.
The Cilantro Food Truck, also at Disney Springs, added Mexican Street Corn to the menu. Corn on the cob that is slathered with mayo, cotija cheese, lime, cilantro, and a chile-lime seasoning.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin, one of my favorite dining locations, has added the Chicken Tinga Sandwich which is a shredded chicken sandwich that has caramelized peppers and onions with a cilantro lime aioli.

A newer location to Disney Springs, eet by Maneet Chauhan, opened in December 2023 and is an Indian cuisine restaurant. It has added four new menu items in the celebration! First up is a Cantario Cocktail that features tequila, lime juice, pineberry juice, orange juice, and grapefruit juice. Tostone Nachos and Picadillo Cubano Bowl are two of the savory meal options. The Tostone Nachos features plantains, pork chili, and Kachumber salad. The Picadillo Cubano Bowl features basmati rice and black beans with ground meat and tomatoes, onions, cinnamon, raisins, and potatoes.
A popular dining location, Morimoto Asia, added a Birria Shirt Rib with beef broth, egg noodles, soy egg and pickled onions.
The next location serves up a favorite treat of the Disney visitors. Sunshine Churros has two new and delicious sounding options. A Mangonada Churro which has mango sugar and is topped with a drizzle of mango sauce plus a sprinkle of a spicy salt seasoning. The second option is a sweeter version, this one being a Guava and Cream Cheese. It features the churro rolled in white sugar and a drizzle of creme Latin cheese and guava. To top it off there are Queso Blanco crumbles.
The Polite Pig will also offer a churro option. The Blueberry Margarita Churro is filled with cream cheese and rolled in a cinnamon sugar. It is then topped with a blueberry margarita sauce. The second limited menu item is the Pulled Pork Arepa which features the tender pork that features tropical spices. To top it off, a chayote slaw and cucumber sofrito is placed.
While the weeks are dwindling to enjoy these limited time menu items. Next year is always an option, and bookings are open for most of the 2025 season for Walt Disney World and the entire 2025 season at Disneyland Resorts! Reach out to Marvelous Mouse Travels today!
