Rapunzel has been a crowd favorite ever since the movie "Tangled" premiered back in 2010. Her long and luscious golden locks, her bravery and courage...not to mention she has one handsome thief to swoon over. What's not love? So it was no surprise that when New Fantasyland opened in 2012 that Rapunzel needed her own area. As the tower was built, everyone wondered what attraction Disney would give to our favorite Lost Princess. No one expected the answer to be bathrooms. (Though they are the nicest bathrooms in the Magic Kingdom!) Many fans were disappointed that this wasn't a meet and greet area or something more. The areas decor is breath taking from the floating lanterns, to the paintings on the wall. But here's a fun fact! There's a little bit more to this area than just these bathrooms. Hidden in the scenery are 10 Pascals! Pascal LOVES to play hide and seek. (And between you and me....he's really good at it!) If you visit Rapunzel in Princess Fairytale Hall, she may tell you to keep a look out for Pascal whenever you visit her tower. So next time you're in New Fantasyland, challenge yourself to find all ten!
Also new to this area is an amazing photo opportunity! When the sun goes down, you can find yourself posing with your own floating lantern. This was originally supposed to be a temporary photo op, but it became such a hit that I am happy to announce it is here to stay!
