It’s no secret that health and fitness has become a very important factor in today’s world, but it is always fun? Nope! Disneyland found a way to bring the magic to the mats… the yoga mats that is! Californian Hotel & Spa is introducing an exhilarating new menu of group fitness activities for Guests staying at any of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort!
These fitness classes offer one of a kind settings and experiences that can’t be found anywhere other than the Disneyland resort. One of these locations is a beautiful outdoor area of Disney California Adventure Park before it even opens for guests. Classes such as yoga, guided meditation, stretching and boot camp styles are offered. Guests can even challenge themselves at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, or even find themselves on a paddleboard in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s Fountain Pool! Classes can be from 30-45 minutes in length and vary in skill levels.

Here are a few descriptions of classes offered.
- Aqua Yoga: Practice yoga on a paddleboard while floating in the Fountain Pool.
- Awakening Yoga: Wake up with Disney by enjoying a yoga session overlooking Disney California Adventure from the hotel’s rooftop deck. This class is for all skill levels.
- Boot Camp in Disney California Adventure Park: This spirited, high-intensity boot camp will have Guests on the move traveling from land to land before the park opens, with push-ups, squats and sit-ups, and maintains a 12-minute per mile pace jogging around the park. This class takes place before the park opens.
- Disney Ears Yoga: This is exactly what it sounds like! Put on a pair of your favorite ears and get your stretch on!
- Fascia Release: This class incorporates a fascia roller to focus on helping to relieve muscle tightness and soreness.
- Obstacle Challenge in Disney California Adventure Park: At the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail attraction, Guests can conquer thrilling obstacles like crawling, jumping, climbing and running, and test their balance and strength! This class takes place before the park opens.
- Power Walking Workout in Disney California Adventure Park: Start the day with an energetic walk and active stretching throughout Disney California Adventure.
- Sound Meditation: This is a guided meditation to allow guests to find peace and relaxation.
- Start with a Stretch: Instructors guide guests through gentle stretches to warm up their muscles for their day in the parks!
Class reservations are required and can be made online or over the phone. Guests can also take advantage of the three complimentary hotel fitness centers. Not everyone wants to work out while they are on vacation, but Disney knows how to make it the “happiest workout on earth!”
