The Disney resorts have been making some fun and exciting announcements this week regarding the upcoming spooky season! We are halfway to Halloween and to celebrate such a ghostly time of year Disney Parks have announced some great events coming! But not only are the parks going to be offering some new entertainment but Disney Cruise Line will be also!

On Disney Cruise Line’s Halloween on the High Seas sailings guests will be able to have a one of a kind meet and greet inspired by the spooktacular Sanderson sisters. This September and October guests will be able to sail on themed cruises with special entertainment and activities, including trick-or-treating, spooky parties, elaborate décor and limited-time food and beverage items. But that’s not all these voyages will also offer all-new character meet and greet opportunities exclusively for Disney Cruise Line Guests. This will include characters in their seasonal attire, and Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow will debut a never-before-seen look as they dress up as the iconic Halloween sisters, the Sandersons from the movie “Hocus Pocus.”

The centerpiece of the ships during the holiday season will be a signature Pumpkin Tree towering over the atrium lobby, each with sprouting Jack-O-Lanterns and flickering lights. And aboard the Disney Wish, guests will get to experience an all new tree in the “Cinderella”-inspired Grand Hall. This tree will have lighter bark, graceful branches and a mystical face. And legend has it that this enchanted tree, who’s name is Boo, grew beautiful gourds with the help of a wishing star.
In addition to the new character meet and greets Halloween on the High Seas sailings include Mickey's Mouse-querade Party. Other events will include villainous takeovers in the adult-exclusive venues; and Halloween-themed movies on Funnel Vision.
