Halloween Horror Nights Treats

Halloween Horror Nights has officially kicked off for the season, and now we have the inside scoop of some of the delicious Halloween Horror Nights treats that are available for purchase throughout the park for the special event inside Universal Studios Orlando. All of these desserts are crafted by Chefs who used inspiration from the houses themselves to create these masterpieces.

The adorable Trick or Treat Bucket sets a high bar for the first treat to talk about. This tasty treat is a mixture of a chocolate creme brulee and a peanut butter buttercream then topped with some caramel corn and a mixture of chocolate and peanut butter candy coated treats. To hold it all together is a strip of licorice.

The next adorable and not so spooky treat is the Mummy Pop. Crafted from creamy cheesecake with some cookie bits mixed in and placed on a popsicle stick makes the perfect treat on your way to your next haunted house adventure.

A Pumpkin Dulce de Leche Puff is up next on the list of fabulous sweet Halloween Horror Nights treats. This cooked to perfection cake has a nice crunchy outside, and filled with a pumpkin and dulce de leche mixture and topped with a whipped ganache. It is also beautifully decorated with pumpkin seeds and little golden flakes.

Are you ready for something a little less sweet and a little more sour? Sour Apple Funnel Fries (Dr. Oddfellow’s Twisted Origins) is the perfect mixture of the sweet and sour treat. Universal Blogs describes it as a conglomeration of all sorts of carnival foods. The funnel cake fries are topped with apple pie filling and a scoop of sour apple ice cream.

Another seemingly delicious treat is the Bloody Snowball (Yeti: Campground Kills) is a chocolate snowball with a cream filling and covered in coconut with a touch of red to create the blood.

Dia De Los Muertos Vegan Churros are probably one of the desserts that I will add to my list to try, along with the Mummy Pop. The classic cinnamon-sugar fried dessert is served with a scoop of vegan vanilla gelato, some crushed cream filled cookie dust, and a touch of coconut agave nectar.

All of these desserts sound absolutely amazing, and I cannot wait to try some of these! Which would you try if you were attending the special event? There are still dates available for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights events! Be sure to reach out today to Marvelous Mouse Travels and book your vacation package to Orlando today!
