We are officially half way to the holidays and Walt Disney World is celebrating in style! Returning events and exciting savings are happening this holiday season, are you ready for your next magical visit to Walt Disney World?
The return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been announced and the excitement has begun! Tickets go on sale in early July for guest staying on Walt Disney World property and just a few days later, they go on sale for all other guests.

This year there are 13 parties in the month of November, with the first being on November 8, 2024. There are then 12 more parties in December with the last being held on December 20, 2024. On the selected evenings of the party, the parks will close at a slightly earlier time, and will transform with the magic of Disney into a winter wonderland. The official hours of the event are from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
As you stroll through the park, guests will receive complimentary cookies and cocoa, a sweet treat to keep a little pep in your step throughout the evening.
A magical parade will take place down Main Street U.S.A. and music will fill the streets. Don’t forget the amazing holiday-themed attractions, those you do not want to miss!
Also returning this year is Disney Jollywood Nights! This is also a special ticketed event that is held after hours inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This event is held on select nights from November 9 through December 21st, 2024 from 7:30 p.m to 12:30 a.m. With the new popular event, they are including over 20 character experiences, a new skating spectacular, and delicious exclusive food options. Plus the return of the Gertie Cookie!

The final event held inside the parks is EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Here guests can experience the traditions of the holidays from around the world. Beginning November 29, 2024 and running through December 30, 2024, experience the food, merchandise, storytellers, and entertainment that follows those traditions.

The Candlelight Processional will also return, however we do not have a lineup of celebrity narrator’s yet. Hear them tell the Christmas story along with an orchestra and choir. This entertainment option is very popular, but it is something I think everyone should experience.
