The time has come! Many of you may have been seeing pass holders talking about their experiences with the ride previews. The anticipation has been rising for quite some time and the ride does not disappoint! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind launches May 27, 2022. This intergalactic chase through space and time is one guests are going to want to ride again and again.
Before guests can enjoy this amazing attraction there are a few details to be noted beforehand. This incredible new galaxy saving attraction will open with a virtual queue. Guests may also purchase an individual Lightning Lane entry to the attraction. Take note there will not be a standby queue at this time.
Being able to enter the virtual queue will begin at 7 am on the day of the guest’s park reservation. Guests with park admission as well as park reservation will be able to check for an available boarding group through the My Disney Experience app and try to enter the virtual queue. This all can be done before clients leave their Resort hotel! If guests are unable to obtain this during the morning there will be another queue opened at 1pm. But for this midday opportunity guests need to be inside EPCOT park. A last option would be for guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels will have an additional opportunity to request to join the virtual queue at 6 p.m. on select dates during extended evening theme park hours.
When purchasing individual Lightning Lane it can be done through the My Disney Experience app via the Disney Genie service on the same day of their visit, subject to availability. If you are having issues with joining the Virtual Queue or Individual Lightening Lane, Guest Experience Team Cast Members will be throughout the park for assistance.
