Gideon's Bakehouse in Disney Springs

Gideon’s Bakehouse has a Disney Springs location.  This little shop is a MUST stop!  The shop itself has a very unique theme that I don’t want to give away!  But let’s just say, it’s a mix of Tim Burton and Harry Potter!  The menu here includes cookies, cakes, and cold brew coffees.

The line for Gideon’s Bakehouse can be extremely long, but it’s definitely worth the wait!  In fact, each cookie weighs almost half a pound!  They are seriously like the size of your face.  There’s even a special hot cookie hour if you time it just right, where you can get ice cream on top of your warm cookie!

Cookie flavors range from the classics like chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate chip, and peanut butter.  And then there are some more adventurous flavors to try! These are typically seasonal and often include fruit flavors like citrus.  

Personally, my family has tried almost every flavor as well as the cookie bites and a slice of red velvet cake!  (Disclaimer: We did not order all of this in one trip!)  My absolute favorite cookie is the chocolate chocolate chip.  The dash of sea salt on top makes for the perfect combination of sweet and salty!

Here is some important information for visiting this location:

• Wait times to gain entry can be several hours, with less wait in the morning and more wait in the evening.  It will also be heavier on the weekends and holidays.
• When the line begins to block the neighboring shops, a virtual queue will open up that allows you to enjoy your day anywhere within Disney Springs while you wait.
• Sign up must be done in person.  Look for the staff across from Morimoto Asia near the bridge. You will get a text message when it’s time to get in the line.
• Typically, around 7pm each evening, they will stop adding people to the virtual queue so that they can close during their operating hours.
• There is a limit to 6 cookies per person!  This prevents them from selling out so there’s enough for everyone to enjoy.

So, the next time you are at Disney Springs, be sure to hit up Gideon’s Bakehouse!  It will not disappoint!
