All cruise lines are doing things a bit differently but here is what you can expect if you sail on Royal Caribbean out of Florida as of August 2021.
If you are vaccinated, at check in, you will show your vaccination card be given a silicone bracelet to wear during the cruise. This bracelet shows the crew that you are vaccinated and you are allowed to go anywhere on the ship and remove your mask in designated areas. You do not need to provide a negative
covid test to board the ship.

Unvaccinated guests over the age of 12 will need to provide a negative PCR test taken within 3 days of boarding. Guests will then be given a rapid test before getting on the ship. Passengers will be tested midway through the cruise and have 1 more test 24 hours before disembarking. Unvaccinated guests on cruises 5 nights or less will be charged $136 per person and guests sailing 6 nights or longer will be charged $178 per person to cover the cost of testing.
Guests between the ages of 2 and 12 will be given a rapid test at check in and then will be tested before disembarking on the last day.
Guests 2 and under have no testing or mask requirements.
If you are not vaccinated you will not be allowed into the casino, spa or the sushi bar. Unvaccinated guests will also have to wear a mask anytime they are inside, unless they are in their stateroom or they are seated and actively eating or drinking.
When visiting Nassau, everyone is required to wear a mask at all times while out on their excursion. After the excursion all unvaccinated gusts must return to the ship, while vaccinated guests can remain on the island to walk around, explore and shop.

For your Perfect Day at CocoCay all guests can visit the island mask free. The only time masks must be worn here will be by unvaccinated guests when they are in a public indoor area such as bathrooms or locker rooms.
